Safety Information & Important Notes

CAUTION:

• Do NOT use the power cord when direct wiring the fixture. Only one power method is needed.
• Read through all product instructions completely and proceed with caution. Follow each step carefully.
• If you have any concerns with handling electrical wiring, consider hiring a qualified electrician for installation or use the plug-in method.
• Once the knock-out is removed for direct wiring, the luminaire can no longer be powered by the plug-in method.

Setup & Installation

General Installation Steps:

1. Turn Off Power: Always begin by turning off the power at the circuit breaker to the power source where you are installing the fixture.
2. Determine Mounting Position: Find the ideal mounting position for your fixture. Ensure that the input side of the fixture is within 5 feet of an electrical outlet if using the plug-in method. If linking multiple fixtures, ensure inputs and outputs are facing each other for a clean connection, leaving a minimum 2-inch clearance on either side for cables.
3. Mount the Fixture: Use a Phillips screwdriver and the pre-installed captive mounting screws. These screws work best in surfaces that are at least 3/8 inches thick. You may pre-drill pilot holes if desired.

Plug-in Installation Process:

4. Insert Power Cord: Insert the power cord quick-connector into the input port of the fixture.
5. Plug In: Plug the power cord into an electrical outlet.
6. Secure Cord: Use the provided cable clips to secure the cord, keeping it snug to the mounting surface.
7. Insert Screw Hole Covers: Push in the screw hole covers for a finished look.
8. Restore Power: Turn the power back on at the circuit breaker and test the fixture.

Direct Wire Installation Process:

4. Remove Knock-Out Cover: Use a screwdriver to remove the knock-out cover from the fixture. Ensure no metal circle is left inside the fixture.
5. Mount Strain Relief: Mount the strain relief to the connection cover, securely tightening the nut on the inside.
6. Feed Supply Cable: Push approximately 3 inches of the supply cable through the strain relief and tighten the screws around it.
7. Connect Wires: Carefully pull the three internal wires out. Use wire strippers to remove insulation from the supply cable wires. Connect each supply cable wire to the internal wire that matches its color (Green/Bare Copper to Green, White to White, Black to Black) using wire nuts. Ensure all wires are securely gripped with no bare wires exposed.
8. Secure Connection Cover: Gently push the wires back inside the fixture and secure the connection cover back on.
9. Insert Screw Hole Covers: Push in the screw hole covers for a finished look.
10. Restore Power: Turn the power back on at the circuit breaker and test the fixture.

Linking Multiple Fixtures:

You can link multiple Cync Reveal HD+ fixtures (pucks or bar fixtures) together. Up to 500 watts can be linked using linking cables, or up to 240 watts using recessed connectors. When connected to a Cync Smart Dimmer, up to 150 watts can be linked.

1. Connect Linking Cable: Plug the linking cable or recessed connector into the output port of the powered fixture.
2. Connect to Next Fixture: Connect the other end of the linking cable or recessed connector to the input port of the non-powered fixture.
3. Install Quick Connect Caps: Ensure all plastic quick connect caps are installed in any remaining open ports once linking is complete.

Operating Your Fixture

Once installed, you can control your Cync Reveal HD+ Smart Undercabinet Light Fixture using the integrated buttons, the Cync app, or voice commands.

On-Fixture Controls:
