4. Setup

4.1 Unboxing and Initial Inspection

1. Carefully remove all components from the packaging.

4.2 Scooter Assembly (if required)

1. Place the helmet on your head, ensuring it sits level and covers your forehead.

3. Adjust the side straps to form a "V" shape just below your ears.
4. Use the internal padding sets to customize the fit for maximum comfort and security.

4.5 App Control Setup

The Hurtle Electric Scooter supports smart app control for locking, unlocking, and monitoring status.

1. Download the official Hurtle app from your smartphone's app store (iOS or Android).
2. Turn on the scooter and enable Bluetooth on your smartphone.
3. Open the Hurtle app and follow the on-screen instructions to pair your scooter.
4. Once paired, you can access features like locking/unlocking, speed modes, battery status, and ride statistics.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Powering On/Off

• To Power On: Press and hold the power button on the display panel until the screen illuminates.
• To Power Off: Press and hold the power button until the display turns off.

5.2 Riding the Scooter

1. Place one foot firmly on the scooter deck.
2. Push off with your other foot to gain initial momentum (kick-start).
3. Once moving, gently press the throttle lever to engage the motor.
4. Place your second foot on the deck.
5. Maintain balance and steer by leaning and turning the handlebar.

5.3 Braking

The Hurtle scooter features a triple braking system for effective stopping.

• To slow down or stop, gently squeeze the brake levers on the handlebar.
• Apply both brakes simultaneously for optimal stopping power and control.
• The E-ABS anti-lock braking system assists in preventing wheel lock-up during sudden braking.

5.4 Folding and Unfolding

• Folding: Ensure the scooter is powered off. Locate the folding latch/lever near the base of the stem. Follow the specific instructions for your model to release the lock and fold the stem down towards the deck until it clicks into place.
• Unfolding: Release the folding lock and carefully lift the stem until it locks securely into the upright riding position. Always ensure the locking mechanism is fully engaged before riding.
