Operating Modes

The REVASRI Laser Rangefinder offers six distinct measurement modes to suit various needs:

  • Ranging Mode (Line of Sight - LOS): Measures the direct distance to the target. Press and hold the measure button to scan multiple targets.
  • Vertical Distance Mode (VD): Provides the vertical distance to the target, useful for elevated positions.
  • Horizontal Distance Mode (HD): Calculates the horizontal distance to the target, compensating for angles.
  • Speed Measurement Mode: Measures the speed of a moving target.
  • Closest Distance Measurement Mode (CL): Identifies and displays the distance to the nearest object among multiple targets.
  • Farthest Distance Measurement Mode (FA): Identifies and displays the distance to the furthest object among multiple targets.

  2. Look through the eyepiece and aim the crosshairs at your target.
  3. Press the measure button to get a reading.
  4. Use the mode button to cycle through the different measurement functions.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use the provided lens clean cloth to gently wipe the lenses. Avoid using abrasive materials or harsh chemicals.
  • Storage: Store the rangefinder in its protective case when not in use to prevent scratches and damage.
  • Battery Care: Recharge the battery regularly, even if not frequently used, to maintain battery health.
  • Water Resistance: The device has an IP65 rating, meaning it is water resistant. However, avoid submerging it in water.

Troubleshooting

Q: Why can't I get a reading?
A: The minimum range is 5 yards. If you use it in small rooms or through glass, or if the distance is out of its range, it may not show a distance reading.
Q: Why does the reading seem not as accurate as usual sometimes?
A: Rain, fog, strong light, or heavy dust may influence the transmission of the laser, causing accuracy issues. For small objects, ensure you aim directly at the target and not something in the background.
