- Ristretto: For a short, concentrated espresso.

4. Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the coffee machine and all accessories from the packaging. Retain packaging for future transport or storage.
- Placement: Place the machine on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface, away from water sources and direct sunlight. Ensure adequate ventilation around the machine.
- Water Tank: Remove the water tank, rinse it with fresh water, and fill it with fresh, cold drinking water up to the MAX level. Reinsert the tank securely.
- Bean Hopper: Open the lid of the bean hopper and fill it with whole coffee beans. Do not use ground coffee, instant coffee, or caramelized beans in the bean hopper.
- Drip Tray: Ensure the drip tray and coffee grounds container are correctly installed.
- Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.
- First Use Cycle: Upon first power-on, the machine may perform an initial rinsing cycle. Follow any on-screen prompts.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Making Coffee
- Ensure the water tank is filled and the bean hopper contains coffee beans.
- Place one or two cups under the coffee spout.
- Select your desired coffee type (e.g., Espresso, Long Coffee) from the control panel. You can adjust the intensity or volume if available on the display.
- Press the Start/Stop button to begin brewing. The machine will grind the beans and dispense the coffee.
- To stop brewing prematurely, press the Start/Stop button again.
5.2. Using the Steam Wand (for milk frothing)
- Fill a pitcher with cold milk.
- Place the pitcher under the steam wand.
- Select the Steam function on the control panel. Wait for the machine to heat up and indicate it's ready.
- Immerse the steam wand tip just below the surface of the milk.
- Open the steam valve (if applicable) or press the start button to release steam. Move the pitcher up and down to create foam.
- Once desired foam and temperature are reached, close the steam valve/stop steam.
- Immediately clean the steam wand after use with a damp cloth to prevent milk residue from drying.
5.3. Hot Water Dispensing
- Place a cup under the hot water spout.
- Select the Hot Water function on the control panel.
- Press Start/Stop to dispense hot water. Press again to stop.
6. Maintenance
Regular cleaning and maintenance are crucial for the longevity and optimal performance of your coffee machine.
6.1. Daily Cleaning
- Drip Tray and Coffee Grounds Container: Empty and rinse the drip tray and coffee grounds container daily or when prompted by the machine.
- Water Tank: Rinse the water tank daily and refill with fresh water.
- Coffee Spout: Wipe the coffee spout with a damp cloth.
- Steam Wand: Clean immediately after each use to prevent milk residue buildup.
6.2. Cleaning Cycle
The machine features an automatic cleaning cycle. When prompted by the machine or as part of regular maintenance:
- Place a large container under the coffee spout and steam wand.
- Press the Clean Mode button and follow the instructions on the display.
- Note: Cleaning tablets and water filters are not included with the machine and must be purchased separately.
6.3. Descaling
The machine will indicate when descaling is required. Use a descaling solution specifically designed for coffee machines and follow the instructions provided with the descaler.
