6.1 Applying the Cuff

Correct cuff placement is crucial for accurate readings.

  1. Sit comfortably with your back supported and feet flat on the floor.
  2. Place the cuff on your bare upper left arm, approximately 2-3 cm (about one finger's width) above your elbow joint. The air tube should run down the center of your arm.
  3. Ensure the cuff is snug but not too tight. You should be able to insert one finger between your arm and the cuff.
  4. Rest your arm on a table so the cuff is at the same level as your heart.

6.2 Taking a Measurement

Once the cuff is correctly applied and you are in a relaxed position:

  1. Press the START/STOP button. The cuff will begin to inflate automatically.
  2. Remain still and silent during the measurement. Avoid talking or moving your arm.
  3. Once the measurement is complete, the cuff will deflate, and your systolic pressure, diastolic pressure, and pulse rate will be displayed on the screen. The result will be automatically saved to the selected user's memory.
  4. Press the START/STOP button again to turn off the device, or it will automatically shut off after a period of inactivity.
