Work Area Safety

• Keep the work area clean and well-lit. Cluttered or dark areas invite accidents.
• Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases, or dust. Power tools create sparks which may ignite the dust or fumes.
• Keep children and bystanders away while operating a power tool. Distractions can cause you to lose control.

Electrical Safety

Setup

Charging the Battery

The drill driver comes with two 2.0Ah Lithium-ion batteries. It is recommended to fully charge the batteries before first use.

1. Connect the charger to a standard power outlet.
2. Slide the battery pack onto the charger until it clicks into place.
3. The charging indicator lights on the battery will show the charging status. A full charge is indicated when all lights are solid.
4. Once fully charged, disconnect the battery from the charger.

Installing/Removing the Battery

• To Install: Align the battery pack with the base of the drill handle and slide it in until it locks securely.
• To Remove: Press the battery release buttons on the sides of the battery pack and slide the battery out.

Installing/Removing Drill Bits and Accessories

• To Install: Rotate the chuck counter-clockwise to open the jaws. Insert the desired drill bit or screwdriver bit into the chuck. Rotate the chuck clockwise to tighten the jaws firmly around the bit.
• To Remove: Rotate the chuck counter-clockwise to loosen the jaws and pull the bit out.

Operating Instructions

Powering On/Off and Speed Control

• The drill is activated by pressing the infinitely adjustable speed switch (trigger). The speed increases as you press the trigger further.
• Release the trigger to turn the drill off.

Adjusting Torque Settings

The torque adjustment ring allows you to select from 18 torque settings plus a drill mode. This controls the amount of rotational force applied, preventing damage to screws or workpieces.

• Rotate the torque adjustment ring to the desired setting. Lower numbers are for smaller screws or softer materials; higher numbers are for larger screws or harder materials.
• Select the drill icon for drilling applications, which provides maximum torque.

Changing Speed (High/Low)

The 2-speed control switch is located on top of the drill.

• Position 1 (Low Speed, 0-450 RPM): Ideal for driving screws, larger diameter drilling, or applications requiring higher torque.
• Position 2 (High Speed, 0-1550 RPM): Suitable for smaller diameter drilling and applications requiring faster speed.
• Ensure the drill is stopped before changing speed settings to prevent gear damage.

Forward/Reverse Rotation and Safety Lock

• Push the forward/reverse button to the left for forward (clockwise) rotation.
• Push the button to the right for reverse (counter-clockwise) rotation.
• When the button is in the center position, the trigger is locked, preventing accidental starting. Always engage the safety lock when not in use or when changing bits.

Using the LED Light
