2. Safety Information

Please read all instructions carefully before using the feeder. Keep this manual for future reference.

  • Ensure the feeder is placed on a stable, level surface to prevent tipping.
  • Keep the power adapter cable away from pets to prevent chewing or damage.
  • Do not immerse the main unit in water. The food container is designed for easy cleaning, but the electronic components are not waterproof.
  • Use only dry pet food with a kibble size between 2-15mm. Larger kibble may cause blockages.
  • Keep out of reach of small children.

4. Setup

4.1 Powering the Feeder

The feeder can be powered by the included power adapter or 3 D-cell batteries (not included). For full functionality, including WiFi connectivity and app control, the power adapter must be used. Batteries serve as a backup power source to ensure feeding schedules are maintained during power outages.

4.2 Filling the Food Hopper

  1. Unlock the lid by twisting it counter-clockwise or sliding the safety latch, depending on your model.
  2. Pour dry pet food into the 6L capacity hopper. Ensure kibble size is between 2-15mm.
  3. Securely close the lid by twisting it clockwise or engaging the safety latch.

4.3 App Installation and WiFi Connection

  1. Download the "Pet Zero" app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
  2. Register an account and log in.
  3. Follow the in-app instructions to add your WOPET feeder. Ensure your WiFi network is 2.4GHz, as 5GHz networks are not supported.

4.4 Personalized Voice Recording

You can record a 10-second voice message that will play automatically when food is dispensed. This helps to call your pet to their meal.

  1. Open the "Pet Zero" app and navigate to the feeder settings.
  2. Locate the voice recording option.
  3. Record your message (e.g., "Hey baby, it's time to eat!").

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Setting Feeding Schedules

Use the "Pet Zero" app to set up to 15 meals per day, with 1-50 portions per meal. Each portion is approximately 5g.

  1. In the app, select your feeder.
  2. Go to the feeding schedule section.
  3. Add new feeding times and specify the number of portions for each meal.

5.2 Manual Feeding

You can manually dispense food directly from the feeder or through the app.

  • On the Feeder: Press the manual feed button on the control panel to dispense one portion.
  • Via App: In the "Pet Zero" app, select the manual feed option and choose the desired number of portions.

5.3 Low Food Alert

The feeder is equipped with a low food sensor. You will receive real-time notifications on your smartphone when the food level in the hopper is low, ensuring your pet never misses a meal.

5.4 Sharing Device Access

The "Pet Zero" app allows you to share control of the feeder with family members, enabling multiple users to manage your pet's feeding tasks collaboratively.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning Instructions

Regular cleaning ensures hygiene and proper functioning of the feeder. The food container and feeding tray are designed for easy removal and cleaning.

  • Disconnect the power adapter and remove any batteries before cleaning.
  • Remove the food hopper and feeding tray.
  • Care Instructions: Hand Wash Only. Wash the hopper and tray with mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely before reassembling.
  • Wipe the main unit with a damp cloth. Do not submerge the main unit in water.

7. Troubleshooting
