4. Setup
4.1 Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment inside the safe, typically under a removable panel.
- Use the provided screwdriver to open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert 4 AA alkaline batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Replace the battery compartment cover and secure it with the screw.

4.2 Setting Your Passcode
- Open the safe using one of the backup keys.
- Locate the small setting button inside the safe, usually near the keypad mechanism.
- Press the setting button. The keypad lights will begin to blink, indicating it's ready for programming.
- Enter your desired 5-digit passcode using the numbered buttons.
- Hold down the setting button for approximately 5 seconds until a green light illuminates and a buzzer sounds, confirming successful passcode entry.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Opening with Passcode
To open the safe using your programmed passcode:
- Press the numbered buttons to enter your 5-digit passcode.
- The safe lid will automatically spring open.
5.2 Opening with Backup Key
In case of forgotten passcode or depleted batteries:
- Insert one of the provided backup keys into the keyhole on the front of the safe.
- Turn the key to unlock and open the safe.
5.3 Internal LED Light
The safe features an internal blue LED light that activates automatically when the lid is opened. This light remains on for approximately 10 seconds, providing visibility of the safe's contents in dark environments.

6. Security Features
The HOLEWOR HK450B safe is constructed from durable alloy steel, providing robust protection for your valuables. It includes a security cable for additional theft deterrence.
6.1 Security Cable Attachment
To further secure your safe:
- Thread the provided security cable through a fixed, immovable object (e.g., a car seat frame, a heavy piece of furniture).
- Insert the end of the cable into the designated slot on the safe.
- Secure the cable from the inside of the safe using the provided nut and screw. This prevents the safe from being easily removed.

8. Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and proper function of your HOLEWOR safe:
- Cleaning: Use the provided cleaning cloth to gently wipe the exterior and interior foam padding. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Battery Replacement: Replace all 4 AA batteries when the low battery indicator appears or if the safe becomes unresponsive. Always use fresh alkaline batteries.
- Keyhole Maintenance: Keep the keyhole free from dust and debris. Do not lubricate the keyhole unless specifically recommended by the manufacturer.
9. Troubleshooting
- Safe not opening with passcode:
- Ensure batteries are not depleted. Use the backup key if necessary.
