Setup

Charging the Beats Pill

Before first use, fully charge your Beats Pill.

  1. Connect the supplied USB-C cable to the USB-C port on the Beats Pill.
  2. Connect the other end of the USB-C cable to a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
  3. The LED indicator will show charging status. A full charge provides up to 24 hours of battery life.

Pairing with a Bluetooth Device

The Beats Pill supports instant one-touch pairing for both Apple and Android devices.

  1. Power On: Press and hold the Power button until the LED indicator lights up.
  2. Enter Pairing Mode: Press and hold the Power button again for 3 seconds until the LED indicator begins to pulse. The speaker is now discoverable.
  3. Connect from Device:
    • For Apple Devices: Bring the Beats Pill close to your unlocked iPhone or iPad. A pop-up will appear on your device's screen. Follow the on-screen instructions to connect.
    • For Android Devices: Go to your device's Bluetooth settings and select "Beats Pill" from the list of available devices.
  4. Once paired, the LED indicator will glow solid white.

Operating Instructions

Basic Controls

Amplify Mode (Pairing Two Beats Pill Speakers)

You can pair two Beats Pill speakers to play audio simultaneously for a louder experience.

  1. Ensure both Beats Pill speakers are powered on and not connected to any other device.
  2. On the first Beats Pill, press the "b" button and the Power button simultaneously for 3 seconds until you hear a tone.
  3. Repeat the same action on the second Beats Pill.
  4. The speakers will automatically connect and play audio in Amplify mode.

Stereo Mode (Pairing Two Beats Pill Speakers)

To achieve a stereo sound experience with two Beats Pill speakers:

  1. Follow steps 1-3 for Amplify Mode.
  2. Once in Amplify mode, press the "b" button on either speaker once. The speakers will switch to Stereo mode, with one acting as the left channel and the other as the right.
  3. To exit Stereo mode, press the "b" button on either speaker once again.

Wired Audio Connection

For high-resolution lossless audio, connect your Beats Pill directly to a compatible device (e.g., laptop) using a USB-C to USB-C cable. The speaker will automatically switch to wired audio input.

Maintenance

Cleaning

To clean your Beats Pill, use a soft, lint-free cloth. For stubborn marks, slightly dampen the cloth with water. Do not use abrasive cleaners, alcohol, or chemical solvents.

Water and Dust Resistance

The Beats Pill is IP67-rated for dust and water resistance. This means it can withstand immersion in up to 1 meter of water for 30 minutes. However, it is not permanently waterproof. Always ensure the USB-C port cover is securely closed before exposing the speaker to water or dust.

Storage

Store the speaker in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

Troubleshooting
