Connecting Your Keyboard

1. Unpack the keyboard and its accessories from the box.
2. Connect the detachable USB-C cable to the USB-C port on the keyboard.
3. Plug the other end of the USB-C cable into an available USB port on your PC.
4. The keyboard will automatically be recognized by your operating system.
5. (Optional) Attach the Premium Magnetic Wrist Rest to the front edge of the keyboard for enhanced comfort.

Operating Your Keyboard

OmniPoint 3.0 Adjustable HyperMagnetic Switches

The Apex Pro Gen 3 features OmniPoint 3.0 switches, offering unparalleled speed and customization. These switches provide 20x faster actuation and 11x quicker response time compared to traditional mechanical keyboards. You can adjust the actuation point for each key across 40 levels, ranging from 0.1mm to 4.0mm.

Rapid Trigger and Rapid Tap

These features enhance responsiveness by registering keypresses faster, crucial for competitive gaming. Rapid Trigger allows for immediate reset of a keypress upon release, enabling rapid successive inputs. Rapid Tap optimizes repeated key presses for quick actions.

Protection Mode

Maintenance

Cleaning Your Keyboard

• For dust and debris between keys, use compressed air.
• Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials, as these can damage the finish and keycap legends.

Keycap and Switch Care

The PBT keycaps are durable and resistant to shine. For optimal performance of the OmniPoint switches, avoid spilling liquids on the keyboard. The internal components are designed for longevity, featuring per-key lubrication and improved switch stabilizers.

Troubleshooting

Keyboard Not Responding

• Ensure the USB-C cable is securely connected to both the keyboard and your PC.
• Try plugging the keyboard into a different USB port on your PC.
• Restart your computer.
• Check the SteelSeries GG software for any driver updates or configuration issues.

RGB Lighting Issues

• Verify that the SteelSeries GG software is running and up to date.
• Check the RGB settings within the software to ensure desired effects are enabled.
• Perform a factory reset of the keyboard settings via the SteelSeries GG software if customization issues persist.

Actuation Point Not Registering Correctly
