Setup
1. Insert SIM Card or Activate eSIM
Your Motorola G85 5G supports Dual SIM functionality (one Nano-SIM slot and one eSIM).
- Locate the SIM tray slot on the bottom edge of the phone.
- Insert the SIM tray ejector tool into the small hole next to the tray and press firmly until the tray pops out.
- Place your Nano-SIM card into the tray with the gold contacts facing down. Ensure it is seated correctly.
- Carefully reinsert the SIM tray into the phone.
- To activate an eSIM, navigate to Settings > Network & internet > SIMs and follow the on-screen instructions to add a new eSIM.
2. Charge the Battery
Before first use, fully charge your phone's 5000 mAh battery using the provided USB-C cable and a compatible power adapter (sold separately).
- Connect the USB-C cable to the phone's charging port.
- Connect the other end of the cable to a power adapter and plug it into a wall outlet.
- The charging indicator will appear on the screen.
