Setup

1. Unpacking and Component Check

2. Power Connection

Connect the included power adapter to the DC IN jack on the rear of the keyboard and then to a standard wall outlet. Alternatively, the keyboard can be powered by six AA batteries for portable use.

3. Attaching the Music Rest

Insert the music rest into the designated slots on the top panel of the keyboard. This provides a stable surface for your sheet music or smart device.

4. Connecting External Devices

The YPT-380 offers various connectivity options:

• Headphones (PHONES/OUTPUT): Connect standard 6.35mm (1/4 inch) headphones for private practice. An adapter may be required for 3.5mm jacks.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off and Volume Control

Press the [POWER] button to turn the keyboard on or off. Adjust the master volume using the [MASTER VOLUME] knob located on the left side of the control panel.

2. Selecting Voices, Songs, and Styles

Use the [VOICE], [SONG], and [STYLE] buttons to browse through the extensive library of instrument sounds, built-in songs, and accompaniment styles. The LCD screen will display your current selection.

3. Playing the Keyboard

Maintenance

1. Cleaning

Wipe the keyboard's surface with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, use a slightly damp cloth and then dry thoroughly. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, solvents, or waxes.

2. Storage

Store the keyboard in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and humidity. If storing for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage.

3. Battery Replacement

If using batteries, replace all six AA batteries when the power indicator dims or the keyboard functions become unstable. Ensure correct polarity when inserting new batteries.

Troubleshooting

• No Power: Check if the power adapter is securely connected or if batteries are correctly inserted and charged.
• No Sound: Ensure the master volume is turned up. If headphones are connected, sound will only output through them. Check headphone connection.
