4.2 Luminous Display

The hands and markers on your OLEVS watch are treated with a luminous material. After exposure to light, they will glow in the dark, providing visibility in low-light conditions. The intensity and duration of the glow depend on the amount and duration of light exposure.

5. Maintenance

Proper care will extend the life and maintain the appearance of your OLEVS watch.

5.1 Cleaning

  • Wipe the watch case and bracelet regularly with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and fingerprints.
  • For stubborn dirt on the stainless steel bracelet, use a slightly damp cloth and then dry thoroughly.
  • Avoid using harsh chemicals, solvents, or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the watch's finish.

5.2 Water Resistance

Your watch is water resistant up to 30 meters (3 ATM). This means it is suitable for daily use, such as splashes or brief immersion in water. However, it is not suitable for bathing, swimming, diving, or any other water-related activities where it would be submerged for extended periods or subjected to high water pressure.

  • Do not operate the crown or push buttons when the watch is wet or submerged.
  • Ensure the crown is fully pushed in after setting the time/date to maintain water resistance.

5.3 Battery Replacement

The watch is powered by a LR44 battery. When the watch stops or the movement becomes erratic, it may be time to replace the battery. Battery replacement should ideally be performed by a qualified watch technician to ensure proper sealing and maintain water resistance.
