Setup
Follow these steps for initial setup and connection of your battery.
- Initial Charge: For safe transportation, the battery's original capacity is typically 30%-50%. Fully charge the battery before its first use to ensure optimal performance. The included charger is designed for this battery.
- Placement: Place the battery in a stable, well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and flammable materials. Ensure the operating temperature is within the specified range.
- Connections:
- Ensure all connections are clean, tight, and free of corrosion.
- Connect the positive (+) terminal of the battery to the positive terminal of your load/system.
- Connect the negative (-) terminal of the battery to the negative terminal of your load/system.
- Use appropriate gauge cables for your application to minimize voltage drop and ensure safety.
- Parallel Connection (Optional): If connecting multiple batteries in parallel to increase capacity, ensure all batteries are of the same voltage and capacity. Connect positive to positive and negative to negative terminals. Do NOT connect in series. It is suggested to connect no more than 8 batteries in parallel (Max 1200Ah).
- Bluetooth App Setup: Download the Ingeosolly battery monitoring app from your smartphone's app store. Follow the in-app instructions to connect to your battery via Bluetooth for real-time monitoring.

Operating
Once set up, your Ingeosolly LiFePO4 battery is ready for operation. The integrated BMS manages charging and discharging parameters automatically.
Charging:
- Use only chargers compatible with LiFePO4 batteries. The included charger is specifically designed for this battery.
- Connect the charger to the battery's charging terminals.
- Ensure the charging temperature is between 0℃ and 55℃.
- Monitor charging status via the Bluetooth app for precise voltage and current readings.
Discharging:
- The battery can provide a maximum continuous discharge current of 200A.
- The maximum discharge current for 3-5 seconds is 400A.
- Ensure the discharging temperature is between -20℃ and 60℃.
- The BMS will automatically cut off power if the battery reaches its low voltage threshold to prevent over-discharge.
Bluetooth Monitoring:
- The Bluetooth app provides real-time data including voltage, current, temperature, state of charge (SOC), cycle count, and individual cell voltages.
- Use the app to monitor battery health and identify potential issues early.
Maintenance
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your LiFePO4 battery.
- Regular Inspection: Periodically inspect the battery for any physical damage, loose connections, or corrosion on the terminals. Clean terminals if necessary.
- Cleaning: Use a dry cloth to wipe down the battery casing. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Storage: If storing the battery for an extended period, ensure it is charged to approximately 50-70% of its capacity. Store in a cool, dry place within the recommended storage temperature range (-40℃ to 70℃). Recharge every 3-6 months to prevent self-discharge.
- Firmware Updates: Check the manufacturer's website or the Bluetooth app for any available firmware updates for the BMS.
Troubleshooting
This section addresses common issues you might encounter. For more complex problems, refer to the Bluetooth app's fault page or contact customer support.
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Battery not charging | Charger not connected, charger fault, battery temperature outside range, BMS protection activated. | Check charger connections and power. Verify charger functionality. Ensure battery temperature is within 0℃ to 55℃. Check Bluetooth app for BMS fault codes. |
| No power output from battery | Battery discharged, loose connections, BMS protection activated (over-discharge, overcurrent, short circuit). | Charge the battery. Check all cable connections. Use the Bluetooth app to check battery voltage and BMS status for fault indications. Reduce load if overcurrent protection is active. |
| Bluetooth app not connecting | Bluetooth on phone off, battery off, app issue, distance too far. | Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device. Verify battery is powered on. Restart the app or your phone. Move closer to the battery. |
| Reduced capacity/runtime | Battery not fully charged, aging, extreme temperatures, high discharge rate. | Ensure full charge before use. Operate within recommended temperature ranges. Avoid consistently high discharge rates. If battery is old, consider replacement. |
