5. Setup
Follow these steps for the initial setup of your Qotom Mini PC S05:
- Connect Power: Plug the provided power adapter into the DC 12V input port on the front panel of the Mini PC, then connect it to a power outlet.
- Connect Peripherals: Connect your monitor to the HDMI port on the rear panel. Connect a USB keyboard and mouse to the available USB 2.0 or USB 3.0 ports.
- Connect Network: For router or firewall applications, connect your internet source (e.g., modem) to one of the 1 Gigabit LAN ports and your internal network devices to the other LAN ports using Ethernet cables.
- Power On: Press the power button located on the rear panel to turn on the device. The power indicator on the front panel will illuminate.

- BIOS Access: To access the BIOS/UEFI settings, press the DEL key repeatedly during startup.
7. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the device. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosols directly on the unit.
- Fanless Design: The Qotom Mini PC S05 features a fanless design, which contributes to silent operation and reduces dust accumulation. This design relies on the aluminum chassis for heat dissipation.
