2. Setup and Assembly

This section guides you through the assembly of your ODK L-Shaped Gaming Desk. Follow the steps carefully. The desk features a reversible design, allowing you to configure it as an L-shape for either left or right corner orientation.

2.2 Key Assembly Steps

1. Prepare Components: Unpack all parts and identify them using the provided parts list. Ensure all footpads are installed on the base frames.
2. Assemble Shelf Units: Connect the vertical frames (D, E) with the mesh shelves (P, O) using screws. Note that D should be to the right of E for the right-corner configuration.
3. Connect Frame Sections: Attach the horizontal bars (F) to the assembled shelf units (G and D) using screws. Pay attention to the orientation of screw holes.
4. Install Bottom Shelves: Secure the bottom shelves (C) into the frame using screws. The support piece (U) is designed to prevent damage from overloading and typically does not touch the floor.
5. Assemble Monitor Stand Sections: Connect the vertical supports (K, L) with the mesh shelves (M) using screws. The height of the shelves (M) can be adjusted as needed.
6. Connect Main Frame Sections: Install the crossbars (J, I) between the assembled frame sections (F, G, K) using screws.
7. Install Cross Braces: Attach the diagonal cross braces (T) to the main frame using screws for added stability.
8. Attach Desktop Panels: Carefully place the desktop panels (A, B) onto the assembled frame. Install all screws into the desktop first, then tighten them after ensuring panels A and B are perfectly aligned.
9. Install Side Shelves: Attach the side mesh shelves (N) to the frame using screws.
10. Install Power Strip: Secure the integrated power strip (V) to the desktop using screws.
11. LED Strip Installation: Apply 3M adhesive to the back of the LED light strip (10). Place the light strip into the designated support channel. Secure the light wire with the provided cable clips (11) to prevent obstruction of light emission.
