3. Initial Setup
Follow these steps to set up your GlocalMe U3 device and activate your data plan:
- Get Your GlocalMe Device: Unpack the device and turn it on.
- Download GlocalMe App: Scan the QR code provided in the manual or on the device packaging, or search for 'GlocalMe' in the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) to download the application on your mobile phone.
- Create Account & Activate Data Plans: Open the GlocalMe App, register for a new account, and choose the data plans that suit your needs.
- Link Device with GlocalMe App: In the GlocalMe App, navigate to 'My Device' and scan the QR code displayed on your U3 device to link it to your account.
- Connect to WiFi: Find the Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password on the back of your GlocalMe U3 device. Connect your phone or other devices to this Wi-Fi network.
- Enjoy Internet: Once connected, you can enjoy high-speed internet access.

4. Operating Your GlocalMe U3
4.1 Power On/Off
- To Power On: Press and hold the power button for a few seconds until the indicator lights illuminate.
- To Power Off: Press and hold the power button until the indicator lights turn off.
4.2 Connecting Devices
The GlocalMe U3 can connect up to 10 devices simultaneously. To connect a device:
- Ensure your GlocalMe U3 is powered on.
- On your device (smartphone, tablet, laptop), go to Wi-Fi settings.
- Select the Wi-Fi network name (SSID) displayed on your GlocalMe U3 device or in the GlocalMe App.
- Enter the Wi-Fi password (also found on the device or in the app).
- Your device should now be connected to the internet.

4.3 Managing Data Plans
Data plans can be purchased and managed directly through the GlocalMe App. The app allows you to:
- View your current data usage and remaining balance.
- Browse and purchase new data packages (Day Pass, Monthly Pass, Regional, or Global GB plans).
- Check the validity period of your active data plans.

4.4 Using a Physical SIM Card
The GlocalMe U3 is unlocked and includes a SIM card slot, allowing you to use your own physical SIM card if preferred. This provides additional flexibility for users who have existing local SIM cards or specific carrier preferences.
- Locate the SIM card slot on the side of the GlocalMe U3 device.
- Insert your Nano-SIM card into the tray and gently push it into the slot.
- The device will automatically detect the SIM card and attempt to connect to the network.
- You may need to configure APN settings via the GlocalMe App if the connection is not established automatically.
