Controls and Display

• Display Screen: Color LCD for displaying station information, menus, time, and date.

Setup

1. Power Connection: Connect the supplied mains power adapter to the DC IN port on the back of the radio and plug it into a wall outlet.
2. Initial Power On: Switch the power button on the back to 'ON'. The radio will power on and display the setup wizard.
3. Network Setup:
   • Select "Network wizard" from the System Settings menu.
   • The radio will scan for available Wi-Fi networks.
   • Select your network from the list using the rotary dial and press OK.
   • Enter your Wi-Fi password using the rotary dial to select characters and press OK to confirm each character.
   • Once connected, the radio will display a confirmation message.
4. Time and Date: The radio will automatically update the time and date once connected to the internet. You can adjust settings in the System Settings menu if needed.
5. Language Selection: Navigate to "Language" in System Settings to choose your preferred display language.

Internet Radio

Access thousands of internet radio stations from around the world. Use the rotary dial to browse by location, genre, or search for specific stations. Press OK to select and start playback.

Podcasts

Explore a vast library of podcasts. Select "Podcasts" from the main menu. You can browse by category or search for specific podcasts. Use the rotary dial to navigate and OK to play episodes.

Spotify Connect

With Spotify Connect, you can stream music directly from your Spotify account to the Touro radio over your Wi-Fi network. Ensure your mobile device and the radio are on the same network. Open the Spotify app on your device, select a song, and then choose the Touro from the available devices.

FM Radio

Switch to FM mode using the O/MODE button. Extend the telescopic antenna for optimal reception. Use the tuning buttons or rotary dial to manually tune to FM frequencies, or press OK/SCAN to auto-scan for available stations.

Bluetooth Audio

Select "Bluetooth Audio" mode. The radio will enter pairing mode. On your mobile device, search for "Majority Touro" in your Bluetooth settings and connect. Once paired, you can stream audio from your device to the radio.

USB Playback

Insert a USB flash drive (formatted FAT16 or FAT32, up to 128GB) into the USB port on the back. Select "Music Player" mode and then "USB playback". You can browse and play audio files stored on the drive. Supported features include repeat and shuffle play.

AUX In

Connect an external audio device (e.g., MP3 player) to the AUX In port on the back using a 3.5mm audio cable (not included). Select "AUX In" mode to play audio from the connected device through the radio's speaker.

Alarms and Sleep Timers

• Alarms: Press the ALARM button to set up to two independent alarms. Configure alarm time, source (buzzer, internet radio, DAB, FM), and recurrence.
• Sleep Timer: Press the SLEEP/SNOOZE button repeatedly to cycle through sleep timer options (e.g., 15, 30, 60 minutes) to automatically turn off the radio after a set period.
• Snooze: When an alarm sounds, press the SLEEP/SNOOZE button to activate snooze.

• Equaliser: Adjust audio profiles (e.g., Jazz, Rock, Classic, Pop) for optimal sound.
• Streaming Audio Quality: Select between Low, Normal, or High quality for internet radio and podcast streaming.
• Network: Manage Wi-Fi connections, including network wizard, manual settings, and clearing network profiles.
• Time/Date: Set time, date, format, timezone, and daylight savings.
• Language: Change the display language of the radio.
• Backlight: Adjust backlight timeout, on level, and dim level for the display.
• Factory Reset: Resets all settings to their default values.
• Software Update: Check for and install software updates.

Maintenance
