Compatibility

The FOPO Laptop Extender is compatible with a range of operating systems and laptop sizes. Please review the following requirements:

• Operating Systems: Windows 10 and later, macOS (2019 or later MacBooks, including M1, M2, M3 chipsets).
• Incompatible Systems: Microsoft Surface series and Chromebooks are not supported.
• Laptop Port Requirements: Requires a USB-C or USB-A port (supports Thunderbolt 3/4/USB-C/USB-A).

Setup

Follow these steps to connect your FOPO Quad Monitor to your laptop:

1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all items from the packaging.
2. Install Driver: Insert the provided U Disk into your laptop and install the necessary driver software.
3. Connect Cables: Choose one of the following connection options:
   • Option 1 (USB-C to USB-C): Connect one end of the USB-C to USB-C cable (60 cm) to your laptop's USB-C port and the other end to the quad monitor's USB-C input.
   • Option 2 (2x USB-A to USB-C): If your laptop does not have a compatible USB-C port, use the Dual USB-A to USB-C cable. Connect the two USB-A ends to your laptop's USB-A ports and the USB-C end to the quad monitor's USB-C input.
4. Provide Power: It is essential to connect the PD power supply (30W) to the quad monitor using the 120 cm USB-C to USB-C cable (Power Only) and the power adapter. This ensures stable operation of all three screens.
5. Reverse Charging (Optional): For laptops that support it, the FOPO S680 can provide reverse charging. Use a 60W adapter for the power supply to enable this function.

Operating

The FOPO Quad Monitor offers a superior visual experience and flexible display options:

• Display Quality: Each of the three 14" monitor extenders features 1920x1080 resolution, 72% NTSC color gamut, and a 1000:1 contrast ratio for clear and vivid visuals.
• Adjustable Brightness: Customize the display brightness to your preference for comfortable viewing and eye protection.
• Angle Adjustment: The monitors support flexible rotation for optimal viewing angles and screen sharing:
  • Left Screen: 0-180° rotation
  • Right Screen: 0-225° rotation
  • Top Screen: 0-180° rotation
  The top screen features an auto-sensing design for adaptive application scenarios.
• Display Modes: The extender supports both Mirror and Extend display modes, allowing you to duplicate your laptop screen or extend your desktop across the additional monitors.

• Cleaning: Use a soft, lint-free cloth to gently wipe the screen surfaces. For stubborn smudges, slightly dampen the cloth with water or a screen-safe cleaning solution. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
• Storage: When not in use, store the monitor in its provided carry bag to protect it from dust, scratches, and impacts.

• No Display/Flickering Screen:
  • Ensure all cables (USB-C for video/data and power supply) are securely connected to both the laptop and the monitor.
  • Verify that the PD power supply is properly connected and providing sufficient power. A 30W PD power supply is included, but for reverse charging, a 60W adapter is recommended. Insufficient power can lead to display issues.
  • Check if the laptop's display settings are configured correctly for extended or mirrored displays.
  • Reinstall the driver from the provided U Disk or download the latest version from the official FOPO support website.
• Monitor Not Detected:
  • Confirm your laptop meets the compatibility requirements (Windows 10+, macOS 2019+).
  • Try connecting to a different USB-C or USB-A port on your laptop.

• Buttons Not Responding / Top Monitor Not Coming On:

• Image Quality Issues (Blurry, Distorted):
