Setup and Charging

Initial Charge

It is recommended to fully charge both the Oclip and Baton4 flashlights before first use to ensure optimal performance and battery life.

Charging the OLIGHT Oclip

  • Locate the USB charging port on the Oclip.
  • Connect the provided USB charging cable to the Oclip and a USB power source (e.g., computer, wall adapter).
  • The indicator light will show charging status (refer to Oclip's specific manual for color indications).
  • Charging is complete when the indicator light changes (e.g., from red to green).

Charging the OLIGHT Baton4

  • Attach the magnetic end of the MCC (Magnetic Charging Cable) to the tailcap of the Baton4.

General Operation

  • Turn On/Off: Single click the power button to turn the light on or off.
  • Change Brightness (White Light): When the white light is on, press and hold the power button to cycle through Moonlight, Low, Medium, and High modes. Release the button to select the desired mode.
  • Activate Red Light: Double-click the power button to activate the red light. Double-click again to return to the previously used white light mode.
  • Moonlight Mode: When the light is off, press and hold the power button for approximately 1 second to activate Moonlight mode directly.

General Operation

  • Turn On/Off: Single click the side switch to turn the light on or off.
  • Change Brightness: When the light is on, press and hold the side switch to cycle through Low, Medium, and High modes. Release the button to select the desired mode.
  • Moonlight Mode: When the light is off, press and hold the side switch for approximately 1 second to activate Moonlight mode directly.
  • Turbo Mode: Double-click the side switch to activate Turbo mode. Double-click again to return to the previously used mode.
  • Strobe Mode: Triple-click the side switch to activate Strobe mode. Single click to turn off.
  • Lockout/Unlock: When the light is off, press and hold the side switch for over 2 seconds. The light will briefly flash Moonlight mode then turn off, indicating lockout mode. To unlock, press and hold the switch for over 1 second until the light turns on in Moonlight mode.

The Baton4 features integrated indicators around the switch:

  • Battery Level Indicator:
    • Green: Battery > 60%
    • Yellow: Battery 10% - 60%
    • Red: Battery 5% - 10%
    • Flashing Red: Battery < 5%
