Setup

1. Butane Refill

The lighter is shipped without fuel for safety reasons. Before first use, it must be filled with butane gas. Use only high-quality butane fuel.

  1. Invert the lighter.
  2. Press the tip of the butane fuel can vertically into the refill valve located at the bottom of the lighter.
  3. Hold for approximately 5-10 seconds. Repeat 2-3 times to ensure a full refill.
  4. Wait a few minutes after refilling before igniting to allow the gas to stabilize.

Note: If the lighter does not ignite after refilling, it may be due to air trapped in the fuel tank. Use a small tool to press the refill valve to release any trapped air, then refill again.

2. Flame Adjustment

The flame height can be adjusted using the flame adjustment knob on the bottom of the lighter.

  • Turn the knob towards the (+) sign for a larger flame.
  • Turn the knob towards the (-) sign for a smaller flame.

Adjust the flame to a suitable height for your intended use, typically 1-1.5 inches for pipe smoking.

Operating Instructions

1. Ignition

  1. Hold the lighter firmly.
  2. Lift the arm mechanism upwards. This will open the gas valve and prepare the flint wheel.
  3. Simultaneously, rotate the flint wheel with your thumb to create a spark and ignite the butane gas.
  4. Once lit, maintain the flame by keeping the arm lifted.
  5. To extinguish, release the lift arm.

2. Using the Built-in Pipe Tool

The integrated pipe tool is located at the bottom of the lighter, opposite the refill valve.

  • Tamper: Use the flat end of the tool to gently flatten and compact tobacco in your pipe bowl for an even burn.
  • Pick/Scraper: Use the pointed end to clean the pipe bowl or clear blockages.
