Setup
- Unfold the Dolly: Gently unfold the three arms of the dolly until they are fully extended and locked into position.
- Prepare the Tripod: Ensure your Libec RT102B or T103B tripod is in a stable, folded configuration suitable for mounting.
- Mount the Tripod: Place the feet of the tripod into the designated receptacles on each arm of the dolly. Ensure each tripod foot is firmly seated and secured within its respective holder. The holders are designed to grip the tripod feet securely.
- Verify Stability: Before use, gently test the stability of the mounted tripod and dolly assembly. Ensure there is no wobbling or loose connections.

Operating
- Moving the Dolly: With the tripod and camera securely mounted, release the wheel brakes on all three casters. Gently push or pull the dolly to move it to the desired position. The swivel casters allow for smooth directional changes.
- Stopping and Securing: Once the dolly is in the desired position, engage the brake lever on each of the three wheels to prevent unintended movement. Ensure all brakes are fully engaged for maximum stability.
- Maneuvering: For precise movements, apply gentle, consistent pressure. Avoid sudden jerks or rapid changes in direction, especially with heavy camera setups.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the dolly with a soft, dry cloth after each use to remove dust and debris. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by immediate drying. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Wheel Inspection: Periodically inspect the wheels and casters for any signs of wear, damage, or obstructions. Ensure they rotate freely.
- Joints and Fasteners: Check all folding joints and fasteners regularly to ensure they are secure. Tighten any loose screws if necessary.
- Storage: When not in use, fold the dolly for compact storage. Store it in a clean, dry place away from extreme temperatures and direct sunlight.
Troubleshooting
- Dolly not moving smoothly: Check for debris in the wheels or on the floor surface. Ensure wheel brakes are fully disengaged. Inspect wheels for damage.
- Dolly unstable: Verify that the tripod feet are correctly seated and secured in the dolly's receptacles. Ensure all folding arms are fully extended and locked. Check that the surface is level.
- Wheel brakes not holding: Inspect the brake mechanisms for damage or wear. Ensure the brake levers are fully engaged.
