2.1. Watch Components and Buttons

4. Initial Setup

4.1. Setting Analog Time

  1. Pull out the crown on the right side of the watch.
  2. Rotate the crown to move the analog hands to the desired time.
  3. Push the crown back in to start the analog timekeeping.

4.2. Setting Digital Time and Date

  1. From the normal time display mode, press the MODE button three times to enter the time setting mode. The seconds digits will start flashing.
  2. Press the RESET button to cycle through the settings: Seconds → Hour → Minute → Month → Date → Day of Week.
  3. While a digit is flashing, use the START/PAUSE button to increase the value. Hold the button to rapidly advance.
  4. Once all settings are adjusted, press the MODE button to exit the setting mode and return to normal time display.

4.3. 12/24 Hour Format

In the normal time display mode, press the START/PAUSE button to toggle between 12-hour (with 'AM'/'PM' indicator) and 24-hour formats.

5. Operating Modes

5.1. Alarm Mode

  1. From the normal time display, press the MODE button once to enter Alarm mode. The alarm time will be displayed.
  2. Press the RESET button to toggle the alarm ON/OFF. An alarm icon will appear when ON.
  3. To set the alarm time, press the START/PAUSE button. The hour digits will flash. Use the RESET button to adjust the hour.
  4. Press the START/PAUSE button again to select minutes, then use the RESET button to adjust.
  5. Press the MODE button to exit Alarm setting.

5.2. Stopwatch Mode

  1. From the normal time display, press the MODE button twice to enter Stopwatch mode. The display will show '00:00:00'.
  2. Press the START/PAUSE button to start the stopwatch.
  3. Press the START/PAUSE button again to pause the stopwatch.
  4. Press the RESET button to reset the stopwatch to '00:00:00'.
  5. Press the MODE button to exit Stopwatch mode.

5.3. LED Backlight

Press the LIGHT button (top left) at any time to illuminate the watch face with the LED backlight. The backlight will stay on for a few seconds. This model features a 7-color LED backlight.

5.4. Dual Time Display

The watch features both analog and digital time displays. The digital display can be set independently for a second time zone if desired, allowing you to track two different times simultaneously. Follow the digital time setting instructions in section 4.2 to adjust the digital time.

6. Maintenance

6.1. Water Resistance (50M)

Your PINDOWS PDS-632 watch is water-resistant up to 50 meters (5 ATM). This means it is suitable for daily use, hand washing, rain, and brief immersion in water. However, it is not suitable for showering with hot water, diving, or prolonged underwater activities. Do not operate buttons while the watch is wet or submerged.

6.2. Cleaning and Care

  • Wipe the watch regularly with a soft, dry cloth to remove dirt and sweat.
  • Avoid exposing the watch to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight for prolonged periods, or strong magnetic fields.
  • Do not use chemical cleaners or solvents on the watch, as they may damage the case or band.

6.3. Battery Replacement

The watch uses a CR2032 battery with an approximate life of up to 2 years. When the display becomes dim or functions become erratic, it may be time to replace the battery. Battery replacement should ideally be performed by a qualified watch technician to ensure proper sealing and water resistance.

7. Troubleshooting

Digital display is blank or dim.Battery may be low or depleted. Replace the battery.
Analog hands are not moving.Check if the crown is pushed in completely. If not, push it in. If still not moving, the battery may be low or the movement requires service.
Buttons are unresponsive.Ensure the watch is not wet. If it is, dry it thoroughly. If the issue persists, the internal mechanism may be stuck or damaged.
Time is inaccurate.Re-set the time following the instructions in Section 4. If the problem continues, the battery may be low or the quartz movement needs inspection.
