4. Safety Information
Always prioritize safety when using the jump starter. Failure to follow these guidelines may result in injury or damage to the device or vehicle.
- This device is not a toy. Children aged 8 years and older may use it under adult supervision.
- Ensure the jump starter has at least 50% battery before each use for reliable performance.
- Do not attempt to jump-start an engine that exceeds the maximum displacement supported by the jump starter (8.0L gas/6.5L diesel).
- Do not crank the engine for more than 3 seconds at a time. Allow the jump starter to cool down for at least 1 minute between each start attempt.
- Avoid reverse polarity connections. The intelligent clamps are designed to alert you with audible alarms and indicator lights if connected incorrectly.
- Do not expose the device to extreme heat or fire.
- Do not disassemble the device. Refer to qualified service personnel for repairs.
- Keep the device away from water and moisture.

5. Setup
5.1 Initial Charging
Before first use, fully charge your YaberAuto YA80 Jump Starter. Use the provided USB-C charging cable and a 5V/1.5A USB adapter (not included) to charge the device. The battery indicator lights will show the charging progress. Ensure all four indicator lights are solid when fully charged.
5.2 Checking Battery Level
Press the power button once to check the current battery level. Each illuminated LED indicator represents approximately 25% charge. For optimal jump-starting performance, ensure the device has at least 50% charge.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Jump Starting a Vehicle
- Ensure the jump starter is adequately charged (at least 50%).
- Insert the blue plug of the smart jumper cables into the jump-start port on the YaberAuto YA80.
- Connect the red (+) clamp to the positive (+) terminal of the vehicle's battery.
- Connect the black (-) clamp to the negative (-) terminal of the vehicle's battery.
- Check the indicator light on the smart clamp. A solid green light indicates a correct connection and readiness to start. If a red light or alarm sounds, disconnect and re-check connections.
- Start your vehicle's engine. If it doesn't start immediately, wait at least 1 minute before trying again. Do not crank for more than 3 seconds per attempt.
- Once the engine starts, immediately remove the smart clamps from the vehicle battery, then disconnect the cables from the jump starter.

6.2 Using as a Power Bank
The YaberAuto YA80 can charge your electronic devices:
- Open the protective cover on the side of the jump starter to access the USB output port.
- Connect your device's USB charging cable to the USB output port (5V/2.1A).
- The jump starter will automatically begin charging your device.
6.3 Using the Emergency Light
The built-in LED light has four modes:
- Press and hold the light button for 3 seconds to turn on the flashlight mode.
- Press the light button again to cycle through the modes: Flashlight → White Strobe → Red Strobe → SOS.
- Press and hold the light button again for 3 seconds to turn off the light.
7. Charging the YaberAuto YA80
To recharge the jump starter:
- Connect the provided USB-C charging cable to the input port on the jump starter.
- Connect the other end of the USB-C cable to a 5V/1.5A USB adapter (not included) or a compatible USB power source.
- The LED indicator lights will flash to show charging progress. All four lights will be solid when charging is complete.
8. Maintenance
- Recharge the jump starter every 3 months if not in use to maintain optimal performance and extend battery life.
- Store the device in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and high temperatures.
