2. Safety Information

4. Product Overview

5. Setup
5.1. Installing Soldering Tips
- Ensure the soldering iron is powered off and cool.
- Gently insert the desired soldering tip into the CNC Stainless Steel Mounting Port until it is fully seated.
- Ensure the tip is securely in place before use.
5.2. Connecting Power
The S99 supports multiple power input protocols via its USB-C interface:
- PD65W Charger: Connect the provided PD65W charger to a power outlet using the appropriate regional converter, then connect the USB-C fast charging cable to the soldering iron's Type-C interface.
- XT60 Power Cable: For portable use, connect the XT60 power cable to a compatible LiPo battery (DC9V-21V) and then to the soldering iron's Type-C interface.
- Other Compatible Power Sources: The S99 is compatible with DC/PD/QC/PPS protocols, allowing direct power from laptop power supplies or other suitable sources.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1. Power On/Off
Once connected to a power source, the S99 will typically power on automatically. To power off, disconnect the power source. The device will enter auto-sleep mode after a period of inactivity.
6.2. Temperature Adjustment
The S99 features an HD OLED display for precise temperature control. The temperature can be adjusted from 50°C to 500°C (122°F to 932°F).
- Use Button A and Button B (refer to Figure 3) to increase or decrease the target temperature.
- The OLED display will show the real-time temperature, target temperature, and power status.

6.3. TurboSet Mode
The S99 includes a TurboSet mode for rapid heating to preset temperatures. This feature is available with the newest firmware version.
- The device supports 3 groups of default heating temperatures.
- A one-key turbo boost heating mode is available to quickly reach higher temperatures.
- Refer to the TurboSets menu for configuration (Figure 5).

6.4. Auto Sleep & Standby
The S99 supports auto sleep and standby functions to conserve energy and enhance safety. The iron will automatically enter sleep mode after a period of inactivity and can be woken up by movement.
6.5. Left/Right Hand Mode
The display orientation can be adjusted for left-handed or right-handed users for improved ergonomics.
6.6. Firmware Update
The S99's firmware is upgradable. Check the official SEQURE website for the latest firmware versions and instructions to access new features or improvements.
6.7. Multi-Language Menu
The OLED display supports multiple languages for user interface navigation.

7. Maintenance
7.1. Soldering Tip Care
- Tinning: Always tin the tip with a small amount of solder before and after use to prevent oxidation and extend tip life.
- Cleaning: Use a damp sponge or brass wool to clean the tip regularly during soldering. Avoid abrasive materials.
- Storage: Store tips in a dry place. Replace worn or damaged tips promptly.
7.2. General Cleaning
- Ensure the device is unplugged and cool before cleaning.
- Wipe the body of the soldering iron with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use solvents or abrasive cleaners.
- Keep the hollow-out design clear of debris to ensure proper heat dissipation.
