4. Setup Guide
4.1 App Installation
- Download the "XIAOVV" app from your device's app store (App Store for iOS or Google Play Store for Android).
- Register a new account or log in if you already have one.
4.2 Device Connection
- Plug the camera into a power outlet using the provided power adapter and USB cable. The camera will power on and initiate its startup sequence.
- Open the XIAOVV app and tap the "+" icon to add a new device.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the camera to your 2.4G Wi-Fi network. Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz, as the camera does not support 5GHz.
- During the connection process, you may be prompted to scan a QR code displayed on your phone with the camera lens. Hold the phone steady until the camera confirms successful scanning.
- Once connected, you can name your camera and begin live viewing.
4.3 Mounting the Camera (Optional)
The camera can be placed on a flat surface or mounted to a wall or ceiling using the included mounting base and screws.
- Choose a suitable location for optimal viewing coverage.
- Attach the mounting base to the desired surface using the provided screws.
- Securely attach the camera to the mounting base by twisting it into place.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Live View and Pan/Tilt Control
- Open the XIAOVV app and select your camera from the device list to access the live view.
- Use the directional controls within the app to pan (rotate horizontally) and tilt (rotate vertically) the camera lens for a full 360° view.

5.2 Two-Way Audio
- Tap the microphone icon in the live view interface to speak through the camera's speaker.
- The camera's built-in microphone will capture audio from the camera's location, allowing for two-way communication.
5.3 Motion Detection and Alerts
- Enable motion detection in the app settings. You can adjust sensitivity levels.
- When motion is detected, the camera will record a short video clip and send a notification to your smartphone.
- Activate the automatic motion tracking function in the app background to have the camera follow detected movement.
