3. Setup Guide

3.1. Power Connection

Connect the provided power adapter to the camera's power input port and then plug it into a standard electrical outlet. The camera will power on and initiate its startup sequence.

3.2. App Installation

Download the official XIAOVV application from your mobile device's app store (compatible with iOS). Search for "XIAOVV" and install the application.

3.3. Wi-Fi Connection

The camera supports ONLY 2.4GHz Wi-Fi. Ensure your mobile device is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network during the setup process. Follow the in-app instructions to add your camera and connect it to your home Wi-Fi network. The camera features an upgraded 5DB high-gain antenna for enhanced signal strength and wider coverage.

3.4. Mounting the Camera

The camera is designed for wall mounting. Choose a suitable outdoor location that provides the desired viewing angle and is within range of your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network and a power outlet. Use the provided screws and anchors to securely mount the camera.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Live View and Resolution

Open the XIAOVV app to access the live feed from your camera. The app's real-time preview defaults to SD (Standard Definition) mode. To achieve the full 2K display quality (2304*1296 resolution), you must manually switch to HD (High Definition) mode within the app. This setting can be adjusted based on your network traffic environment.

4.2. Pan, Tilt, and Zoom (PTZ) Control

Utilize the controls within the app to remotely adjust the camera's viewing angle. The camera supports 3550 pan rotation and 900 tilt rotation, providing a 1100 ultra-wide viewing angle to cover a comprehensive area without blind spots.

4.3. Detection Features and Alerts

The P9 camera incorporates smart technology for human and vehicle detection. When an intruder is detected, the camera will send an instant alert notification to your mobile device. Simultaneously, the integrated strobe light, spotlight, and built-in siren will activate to deter suspicious individuals.

4.4. Color Night Vision

Equipped with 4pcs hybrid IR and white LED lights, the camera provides clear and colorful night vision. This feature allows for detailed monitoring even in low-light or no-light conditions, offering superior clarity compared to traditional black-and-white night vision.

4.5. Family Sharing

The XIAOVV app supports family sharing, allowing multiple authorized users to remotely access the camera's live feed and recorded footage. Follow the instructions within the app to invite and manage shared users.

• Cleaning: Although the camera is IP65 waterproof, periodically wipe the lens and camera body with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust, dirt, or water spots that may obstruct the view. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
• Firmware Updates: Check the XIAOVV app regularly for available firmware updates. Keeping your camera's firmware up-to-date ensures you have the latest features, security enhancements, and bug fixes.
• Power Cycle: If the camera experiences connectivity issues or unusual behavior, try power cycling it by unplugging and re-plugging the power adapter.
