Setup

1. Mounting the Camera

The camera is designed for wall mounting. Choose a location that provides the desired viewing angle and is within reach of a power outlet.

1. Mark the drilling points on the wall using the camera's base as a template.
2. Drill holes at the marked points.
3. Insert the wall anchors into the drilled holes.
4. Secure the camera base to the wall using the provided screws.

2. Power Connection

Connect the power adapter to the camera's power input port and then plug the adapter into a standard electrical outlet. Ensure the connection is secure.

3. App Installation and Wi-Fi Connection

The XIAOVV camera operates with the XIAOVV APP. Please note that this camera supports ONLY 2.4GHz Wi-Fi. 5G Wi-Fi is not supported.

1. Download the "XIAOVV APP" from your mobile device's app store (iOS App Store or Google Play Store).
2. Register for a new account or log in if you already have one.
3. Follow the in-app instructions to add your new camera. This typically involves scanning a QR code on the camera or manually selecting the device type.
4. When prompted, connect the camera to your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. Ensure your mobile device is also connected to the same 2.4GHz network during the setup process.
5. Wait for the camera to connect to the network. Once connected, you should see the camera's live feed in the app.

Operating the Camera

1. Real-time Preview and Resolution Adjustment

Open the XIAOVV APP to view the live feed from your camera. The app's real-time preview defaults to SD (Standard Definition) mode to optimize data usage. To view the full 2K resolution, you will need to manually switch to HD (High Definition) mode within the app. This can be adjusted based on your network conditions.

2. Pan, Tilt, and Zoom (PTZ) Control

Use the controls within the XIAOVV APP to remotely adjust the camera's viewing angle. The camera supports 355° horizontal pan rotation and 90° vertical tilt rotation, allowing you to monitor a wide area.

3. Night Vision

The camera features 2K FHD Color Night Vision, utilizing 4pcs hybrid IR and white LED lights. In low-light conditions, the camera automatically switches to night vision mode, providing clear and detailed images even in complete darkness.

4. Motion Detection and Alerts

The camera is equipped with smart human and vehicle detection. When motion is detected, the camera will:

• Send an instant alert notification to your mobile device via the XIAOVV APP.
• Activate the strobe light and integrated spotlight.
• Trigger the built-in siren to deter suspicious individuals.

5. Family Sharing

The XIAOVV APP supports family sharing, allowing multiple users to access the camera's live feed and recordings. You can invite family members to view the camera by following the sharing options within the app settings.
