Setup
1. Activating Your Smart Tag
If your Smart Tag has a plastic pull tab, remove it to activate the battery. The tag will emit a sound indicating it is ready for pairing.
2. Pairing with Apple Find My App
- Ensure your Apple iPhone or iPad is running the latest iOS/iPadOS version and has Bluetooth enabled.
- Open the Find My app on your Apple device.
- Navigate to the Items tab.
- Tap the + icon and select Add Other Item.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to connect your HH-Tech Smart Tag. You may need to press the button on the Smart Tag to initiate pairing.
- Once connected, you can name your Smart Tag and assign an emoji to it for easy identification.

Operating Instructions
1. Locating Your Item
- Open the Find My app on your Apple device.
- Select the Items tab and choose your HH-Tech Smart Tag from the list.
- To hear a sound from your Smart Tag, tap Play Sound. The tag will emit a loud 75dB alarm to help you pinpoint its location.
- The app will display the tag's current or last known location on a map.
2. Left Behind Alert
Receive instant notifications on your Apple device if you leave an item with an attached Smart Tag behind. This feature helps prevent accidental loss.

3. Lost Mode
If an item with your Smart Tag is lost, you can enable Lost Mode in the Find My app. When another Apple device on the Find My network comes within range of your tag, you will receive an anonymous notification of its location. You can also leave a contact number for the finder.
4. Sharing Your Smart Tag
Smart Tags can be shared with family members or friends through the Find My app, allowing multiple users to track the same item. This is useful for shared belongings like car keys or luggage.

Maintenance
1. Battery Replacement
The HH-Tech Smart Tag uses a standard CR2032 coin cell battery, providing up to 1 year of battery life. A spare battery and a plastic prick are included for replacement.
- Locate the small notch on the side of the Smart Tag.
- Insert the provided plastic prick into the notch and gently twist to open the tag's casing.
- Carefully remove the old CR2032 battery.
- Insert the new CR2032 battery with the positive (+) side facing up.
- Align the two halves of the casing and press firmly until it clicks securely into place.

2. Cleaning
Wipe the Smart Tag with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.
