Setup
1. Charging the Speaker
Before first use, fully charge the speaker. Connect the supplied USB-C charging cable to the speaker's USB-C port and the other end to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
- The LED indicator will show charging status.
- A full charge provides up to 16 hours of playtime.
2. Power On/Off
- To power on: Press and hold the Power button until the LED indicator lights up.
- To power off: Press and hold the Power button until the LED indicator turns off.
3. Bluetooth Pairing
- Ensure the speaker is powered on and in pairing mode (LED indicator will flash).
- On your device (smartphone, tablet, laptop), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
- Select "JVC SPSG2BT" from the list of devices.
- Once paired, the LED indicator will stop flashing and remain solid.

4. Aux Input Connection
For devices without Bluetooth, connect an audio cable (not included) from your device's audio output to the speaker's AUX input port.
5. True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Pairing
To achieve stereo sound, you can pair two JVC Gumy SPSG2BT speakers together:
- Ensure both speakers are powered on and not connected to any Bluetooth device.
- On one speaker, press and hold the TWS pairing button (refer to speaker diagram for button location).
- The speakers will automatically search and pair with each other.
- Once paired, connect your device to one of the speakers via Bluetooth as described in step 3.
Operating Instructions
1. Music Playback
- Play/Pause: Press the Play/Pause button once.
- Volume Up/Down: Press the Volume + or Volume - buttons.
- Next Track: Press and hold the Volume + button.
- Previous Track: Press and hold the Volume - button.
2. Call Handling
The speaker features a built-in microphone for hands-free calls.
- Answer Call: Press the Play/Pause button once when a call comes in.
- End Call: Press the Play/Pause button once during a call.
- Reject Call: Press and hold the Play/Pause button when a call comes in.
3. Voice Assistant Activation
Press the Voice Assistant button (often the Play/Pause button, refer to speaker diagram) once to activate your device's voice assistant (e.g., Siri, Google Assistant).
