5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Initial Charge
Before first use, allow the solar lamp to charge in direct sunlight for a minimum of 8-10 hours with the switch in the 'OFF' position. This ensures the integrated battery is fully charged for optimal performance.
5.2 Setting Operating Modes
The Lutec Inka Solar Wall Lamp features a control switch located on the underside of the unit, allowing you to select different brightness modes or turn the lamp off. The lamp automatically activates at dusk and deactivates at dawn when a mode is selected.

Figure 5.1: Detail of the control switch for selecting operating modes.
- OFF: The lamp is completely off and will not illuminate. This position is recommended for initial charging or extended storage.
- L (Low Brightness): The lamp will illuminate at a low brightness level from dusk until dawn, provided there is sufficient battery charge.
- M (Medium Brightness): The lamp will illuminate at a medium brightness level from dusk until dawn, provided there is sufficient battery charge.
- H (High Brightness): The lamp will illuminate at a high brightness level from dusk until dawn, provided there is sufficient battery charge. This mode consumes the most power and may result in shorter illumination times if the battery is not fully charged.
Select the desired mode by sliding the switch to the corresponding position. The lamp will then operate automatically based on ambient light conditions.
6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your solar wall lamp.
- Cleaning the Solar Panel: Periodically wipe the solar panel with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust, dirt, and debris. A clean solar panel ensures maximum sunlight absorption and efficient battery charging.
- Cleaning the Lamp Body: Clean the aluminum body with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the finish.
- Battery Care: The lamp contains an integrated, non-replaceable battery. For best battery life, ensure the lamp receives regular sunlight exposure. Avoid prolonged storage in a completely discharged state.
- Inspection: Periodically check the mounting screws to ensure they remain tight and secure.
