4.1 Screen Layout and Buttons

• 5-inch HD Display: Shows live video feed from the camera.
• Microphone Button: Press to speak to the baby unit (two-way talk).
• Music Button: Activates lullabies.
• Navigation Buttons (Up/Down/Left/Right/OK): Used to navigate menus and adjust settings.
• Menu Button: Accesses the main menu for settings.
• Volume/Zoom Button: Adjusts volume or zoom level.
• Antenna: For wireless signal reception.

5. Setup

5.1 Charging the Parent Unit

1. Connect a compatible USB charger (not included) to the charging port on the side of the parent unit.
2. Plug the charger into a power outlet.
3. The battery indicator on the screen will show charging status. Charge fully before first use.

The parent unit contains a Lithium-ion battery for portable use.

5.2 Powering On/Off

• To Power On: Press and hold the Power button (usually located on the side or top) until the GHB logo appears.
• To Power Off: Press and hold the Power button until the power-off prompt appears, then confirm.

5.3 Pairing with the Camera Unit (If necessary)

The screen unit and camera unit are usually pre-paired at the factory. If pairing is lost or you are adding a new camera (up to 4 channels supported), follow these steps:

1. Ensure both the parent unit and camera unit are powered on and within range.
2. On the parent unit, press the Menu button.
3. Navigate to the "Camera" or "Pairing" option using the navigation buttons and press OK.
4. Select an available channel (e.g., CAM 1, CAM 2).
5. Follow the on-screen instructions to initiate pairing. You may need to press a pairing button on the camera unit (refer to the camera unit's manual for its specific pairing button location).
6. Once paired, the screen will display the live video feed from the camera.

6. Operating the Monitor

6.1 Live View

Once powered on and paired, the screen will automatically display the live video feed from the active camera. You can switch between paired cameras if multiple are connected.

6.2 Adjusting Volume

Press the Volume/Zoom button to access volume controls. Use the Up/Down navigation buttons to increase or decrease the listening volume.

6.3 Two-Way Talk

Press and hold the Microphone button to speak to your baby through the camera unit's speaker. Release the button to stop speaking.

6.4 Lullabies

Press the Music button to play lullabies. Press again to cycle through available melodies or turn them off.

6.5 Menu Navigation and Settings

Press the Menu button to access the main settings. Use the navigation buttons (Up, Down, Left, Right) to move through options and OK to select. Common settings include:

• VOX Mode (Voice Operated Exchange): Activates the screen and sound when noise is detected in the baby's room. You can adjust sensitivity levels.
• Temperature Alert: Set high and low temperature thresholds for alerts.
• Brightness: Adjust screen brightness.
• Time/Date: Set the current time and date.
• Zoom: Digitally zoom in on the video feed.
• Camera Management: Add, remove, or switch between cameras.

7.1 Cleaning
