Setup
1. Battery Installation
- Align the battery pack with the grooves on the back of the radio.
- Slide the battery pack upwards until it clicks into place.
- To remove, press the battery release latch and slide the battery downwards.

2. Antenna Attachment
- Screw the antenna clockwise into the connector on the top of the radio until it is finger-tight.
- Do not overtighten.
3. Charging the Battery
The radio can be charged using the included desk dock or directly via the USB-C port.
- Using the Desk Dock: Place the radio (with battery installed) into the charging cradle. Ensure the charging contacts align. The indicator light on the charger will show charging status.
- Using USB-C: Connect a USB-C cable to the Type C Charging Port (17 in Figure 2) on the side of the radio and to a compatible USB power source (e.g., USB charger, computer, power bank, car charger).

4. Powering On/Off
Rotate the Power/Volume Switch (04 in Figure 2) clockwise to power on the radio and adjust the volume. Rotate counter-clockwise until it clicks to power off.
Operating Instructions
1. Basic Operation
- Power/Volume Switch (04): Turn clockwise to power on and increase volume; turn counter-clockwise to decrease volume and power off.
- PTT (Transmitting Key 13): Press and hold to transmit, release to receive.
- Menu (06): Press to enter the menu, use Up/Down keys (07, 09) to navigate, and press Menu again to confirm selection.
- Exit (10): Press to exit menu or cancel an operation.
- Keypad (12): Used for direct frequency input, channel selection, and accessing various functions.
2. Frequency and Channel Modes
The radio operates in both Frequency (VFO) mode and Channel (MR) mode.
- Switching Modes: Press the F+ Button 3 on the keypad to toggle between Channel mode and Frequency mode.
- Frequency Mode (VFO): Allows direct input of frequencies.
