Binocular Components

• Objective Lens: The large lenses at the front of the binoculars that gather light.

Setup & Adjustment

Adjusting Eyecups

The twist-up eyecups allow for comfortable viewing with or without eyeglasses. Twist the eyecups up or down until you achieve a full field of view without any dark rings or shadows around the edges.

Adjusting Interpupillary Distance (IPD)

The interpupillary distance (IPD) is the distance between the centers of your pupils. To adjust, hold the binoculars with both hands and bend the hinge until you see a single, clear circular field of view. The Razor UHD 10x42 has an IPD range of 56mm - 76mm.

Adjust the hinge to match your interpupillary distance.

Focusing

1. Choose an object about 20 yards away.
2. Cover the right objective lens with your hand.
3. Look through the binoculars with your left eye and rotate the center focus wheel until the image is sharp.
4. Cover the left objective lens with your hand.
5. Look through the binoculars with your right eye and rotate the diopter adjustment ring (on the right eyepiece) until the image is sharp.
6. Once the diopter is set, lock it in place if your model features a locking mechanism.
7. From now on, you will only need to use the center focus wheel to adjust focus for different distances.

Use the center focus wheel for general focusing and the diopter for individual eye adjustment.

Using the GlassPak Pro Harness

The GlassPak Pro Binocular Harness provides a comfortable and secure way to carry your binoculars, keeping them protected and readily accessible. It includes a main compartment for the binoculars and a separate rangefinder pouch.

Attaching the Harness

Attach the harness straps to the binocular's strap attachment points. Adjust the straps for a snug, comfortable fit that keeps the binoculars close to your chest for stability and quick access.
