4. Setup

5. Operating Instructions
To measure AC current using the ZIBOO i600E AC Current Clamp:
- Ensure the clamp is properly connected to your multimeter and the multimeter is set to the mV AC range as described in the Setup section.
- Identify the single conductor (wire) through which you want to measure AC current. Do not clamp around multiple conductors or an entire power cord, as this will result in an inaccurate or zero reading.
- Open the jaws of the current clamp by pressing the lever.
- Place the open jaws around the single conductor.
- Release the lever to close the jaws securely around the conductor. Ensure the jaws are fully closed.
- Read the millivolt (mV) value displayed on your multimeter.
- Convert the mV reading to Amperes (A) using the 1 mV/A conversion factor. For example, if your multimeter reads 100 mV, the current is 100 Amperes.
- After measurement, open the jaws and remove the clamp from the conductor.
