4. Setup Instructions
4.1 Initial Power-On
Connect the camera to a power source using the provided AC adapter. The camera will perform a self-test, and the indicator light will illuminate.

4.2 App Download & Account Creation
- Download the Swann Security app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
- Open the app and tap 'Register' to create a new account.
- Enter your name, email address, and create a password.
- Verify your email address by clicking the link in the email sent from Swann.
- Log in to the app using your registered email and password.

4.3 Device Pairing
- In the Swann Security app, tap 'Pair Device' and then 'Start'.
- Ensure your smartphone is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.
- Scan the QR code located on the bottom of the camera using your phone's camera within the app.
- Confirm that the blue LED on the front of the camera is slowly flashing. If not, press and hold the 'RESET' button on the back of the camera until it flashes rapidly, then release.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to connect the camera to your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.
- Once connected, name your device and select the camera purchase store.
4.4 Physical Installation
The camera is designed for wall mounting. Use the provided mounting hardware to securely attach the camera to a suitable surface. Ensure the installation location provides a clear view and is within Wi-Fi range.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Live View
Once the camera is connected, tap 'Live' in the app to view real-time video footage from your camera. You can pan and tilt the camera view within the app.
5.2 Motion Detection & Alerts
The camera uses True Detect technology to identify heat and motion. When an event is detected, you will receive push notifications on your smartphone. You can customize alert settings within the app.

5.3 Two-Way Talk
Use the two-way talk feature to communicate with visitors or deter intruders directly through the camera's built-in speaker and microphone. Access this feature from the live view screen in the app.

5.4 Night Vision & Floodlight
The integrated floodlight provides bright illumination for clear color night vision. The camera can also record in monochrome infrared night vision up to 20m without the floodlight. The floodlight can be adjusted via the app.

Recordings are saved to the included 32GB MicroSD card. You can also opt for cloud backup services for additional security. View recorded footage through the app's playback feature.
