4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Printer

Before first use, fully charge the printer using the provided Type-C USB cable. Connect the cable to the printer's charging port and a standard USB power adapter (not included).

4.2 Loading Thermal Paper

  1. Open the printer's paper loading compartment: Gently push the lid release button or mechanism to open the top cover.
  2. Insert the thermal paper roll: Place the paper roll into the compartment. Ensure the printing side of the paper (usually the smoother side) is facing upwards and the arc part is facing down.
  3. Pull out a small portion of the paper: Extend approximately 1 cm (0.4 inches) of paper out of the printer's slot.
  4. Close the lid: Securely close the top cover until it clicks into place.

  1. Download the 'Tiny Print' App: Search for 'Tiny Print' in your device's app store (App Store for iOS, Google Play for Android) and install it.
  2. Power On the Printer: Press and hold the power button on the printer until the indicator light turns on.
  3. Enable Bluetooth: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone.
  4. Connect in App: Open the 'Tiny Print' app. Follow the in-app instructions to search for and connect to your X2 printer via Bluetooth. The app will display the printer's name (e.g., X2-XXXX).
