Setup Instructions

1. Mounting the Scope

The Cronus ATS 50-400x300 is designed for use with a Picatinny Mount. Use the provided 30mm scope rings to securely attach the thermal scope to your rifle's Picatinny rail. Ensure proper eye relief and alignment for comfortable and effective use.

2. Battery Installation and Charging

The device operates on external batteries. Insert the charged batteries into the designated compartment. Use the provided charger and USB Type-C cable to charge the batteries. A full charge provides over 10 hours of operational use. The USB-C connection also allows for powering the optic with an external battery pack if needed.

3. Initial Power On

Press and hold the power button until the OLED display activates. The high-resolution OLED display provides a sharp, high-contrast view with vivid color.

Display and Color Palettes

The Cronus ATS features a high-resolution OLED display. You can customize the display to your preferences using one of the 6 available color palettes. Brightness and contrast can be adjusted for each color palette to suit your environment and optimize target detection.

Reticle Selection

The scope offers a variety of digital reticle types, including 5 MOA reticles and 5 MIL reticles. Select the reticle that best suits your shooting style and environmental conditions.

Thermal Sensor Performance

The Athlon Thermal app, available for Apple and Android devices, allows users to connect to the scope via WiFi. This feature enables recording of video and capturing images directly from your device, preserving your hunting moments.

Care and Maintenance

  • Cleaning Lenses: Use a soft, lint-free cloth specifically designed for optical lenses. Gently wipe away dust and debris. For stubborn smudges, use a small amount of lens cleaning solution. Avoid abrasive materials that can scratch the lens coatings.
  • Body Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the scope with a damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or solvents.
  • Storage: Store the thermal scope in its protective carrying case in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure batteries are removed if storing for extended periods.
