4. Setup and Assembly Instructions

4.4. Mattress Placement

1. Unroll the Essential Memory Foam Mattress onto the bed slats. Allow it to fully expand for 24-48 hours before first use.
2. If using the trundle drawer for an additional mattress, ensure it does not exceed 16 cm in height.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Using the Trundle Drawer

• To use the trundle drawer as an additional bed, gently pull it out from under the main bed frame using the integrated handles.
• Ensure the trundle drawer is fully extended and stable before placing a child on it.
• To store, push the trundle drawer back under the main bed frame until it is fully recessed.

5.2. Using the Safety Barrier

• The safety barrier is designed to prevent accidental falls. Ensure it is always in place when the bed is in use by a child.
• Periodically check that the barrier remains securely attached to the bed frame.

6. Maintenance and Care

6.1. Bed Frame Care

• Clean the solid pine bed frame and painted surfaces with a damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals.
