2. Safety Information

• Weight Capacity: Do not exceed the maximum load capacity of 60 kg (132 lbs) on the tabletop. Overloading can cause damage or injury.

4. Setup and Assembly

Follow these steps to assemble your ModernLuxe Extendable Dining Table.

1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging. Place them on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratches.
2. Attach Table Legs: Align the metal table legs with the pre-drilled holes on the underside of the tabletop. Secure them using the provided screws and Allen key. Ensure all screws are tightened firmly.
3. Adjust Feet: The table is equipped with adjustable feet. Once the table is upright, adjust each foot individually to ensure the table is level and stable on your floor surface. This also helps protect your floor from scratches.

5. Operating Instructions

This table features an extendable design for increased surface area when needed.

1. Extending the Table:
   • Gently pull the two main tabletop sections apart. The internal extension mechanism will slide smoothly.
   • Locate the hidden extension leaf stored underneath the main tabletop.
   • Lift the extension leaf and place it into the gap created between the two main tabletop sections. Ensure it sits securely in the designated slots.
   • Push the two main tabletop sections back together until they are flush with the extension leaf, creating a larger continuous surface.
2. Retracting the Table:
   • Gently pull the two main tabletop sections apart to create a gap.
   • Lift the extension leaf out of the gap and carefully store it back underneath the main tabletop.
   • Push the two main tabletop sections back together until they meet, returning the table to its compact size.

6. Maintenance and Care

Proper care will ensure the longevity and appearance of your dining table.

• Cleaning the Tabletop: Wipe the MDF tabletop with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals, which can damage the marble pattern finish. Dry immediately with a clean cloth.
• Cleaning the Metal Frame: Clean the metal legs with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn marks, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by immediate drying.
• Spills: Wipe up spills immediately to prevent staining, especially on the tabletop.
• Heat Protection: Always use placemats or coasters under hot dishes to protect the tabletop surface.
• Sunlight Exposure: Avoid prolonged direct sunlight exposure, which can cause fading or discoloration over time.
