Product Overview
The Linptech system includes a self-powered wireless light switch, a wireless receiver for the light switch, and a separate wireless doorbell system consisting of a push button and a receiver unit.

Figure 1: Linptech Self-Powered Wireless Light Switch, Receiver, and Wireless Doorbell components. This image displays the main components of the Linptech system: two wireless doorbell units (one with a green indicator), a self-powered wireless light switch, and a wireless receiver module with wiring diagrams visible. The receiver module shows input voltage (100V-240V AC, 50/60Hz) and output current (MAX 10A) specifications, along with connection points for 'ON', 'L', 'N', 'OUT', and 'CTRL'.
Components:
- Self-Powered Wireless Light Switch: A kinetic energy-powered switch that sends wireless signals to the receiver.
- Wireless Receiver (for Light Switch): Connects to your light fixture and receives signals from the wireless switch to control the light.
- Wireless Doorbell Push Button: A kinetic energy-powered button that sends wireless signals to the doorbell receiver.
- Wireless Doorbell Receiver: Plugs into a standard outlet and produces an audible chime when the doorbell button is pressed.
Setup and Installation
Before beginning installation, ensure the power supply to the circuit you are working on is turned off at the main breaker to prevent electrical shock.
1. Wireless Light Switch and Receiver Kit Installation
- Wiring the Wireless Receiver:
- Identify the Live (L), Neutral (N), and Load (OUT) wires from your light fixture or electrical box.
- Connect the Live wire from your power source to the 'L' terminal on the receiver.
- Connect the Neutral wire from your power source to the 'N' terminal on the receiver.
- Connect the Load wire (to your light fixture) to the 'OUT' terminal on the receiver.
- Ensure all connections are secure. The receiver supports 100V-240V AC input and a maximum output of 10A.
- Pairing the Wireless Light Switch with the Receiver:
- After wiring the receiver and restoring power, press and hold the pairing button (often labeled 'CTRL' or a small button near the wiring terminals) on the receiver for approximately 3-5 seconds until an indicator light flashes.
- Within 10 seconds, press the wireless light switch button. The indicator light on the receiver should stop flashing, indicating successful pairing.
- Test the switch to ensure it controls the light.
- Mounting the Wireless Light Switch:
- The switch can be mounted using adhesive backing or screws (not always included, check packaging).
- Choose a clean, dry, and flat surface for mounting.
- For adhesive mounting, peel off the protective film and firmly press the switch onto the desired location.
- For screw mounting, use appropriate screws to secure the switch base to the wall.
2. Wireless Doorbell Installation
- Mounting the Wireless Doorbell Push Button:
- Choose a suitable location near your door.
- Clean the surface thoroughly.
- Use the provided adhesive backing or screws to secure the push button. Ensure it is mounted securely and is easily accessible.
- Setting Up the Wireless Doorbell Receiver:
- Plug the doorbell receiver unit into a standard electrical outlet in a central location within your home, or where the chime can be easily heard.
- The doorbell receiver is pre-paired with the push button. If re-pairing is needed, refer to the doorbell's specific instructions (usually involves a pairing button on the receiver and pressing the push button).
Operating Instructions
Wireless Light Switch Operation
- To turn the connected light ON or OFF, simply press the wireless light switch button. The kinetic energy generated by the press powers the signal transmission.
Wireless Doorbell Operation
- To activate the doorbell chime, press the wireless doorbell push button. The kinetic energy generated by the press powers the signal transmission to the receiver.
- The doorbell receiver will sound the selected chime.
- To change the chime melody or adjust volume (if applicable), refer to the specific instructions provided with your doorbell unit.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the surfaces of the switch, receiver, and doorbell units. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Battery-Free Design: Both the light switch and doorbell push button are self-powered and do not require batteries, eliminating the need for battery replacement.
- Environmental Conditions: Ensure the devices are kept away from excessive moisture, direct sunlight, and extreme temperatures to prolong their lifespan.
