6.1 Remote Control Functions
The remote control allows for easy adjustment of all settings without needing to access the physical unit.

Image 6.1: Layout of the remote control and its various functions.
- ON/OFF: Turns the light on or off.
- 45S/90S/120S/5MIN/10MIN: Sets the lighting duration after motion detection.
- 6M/9M/12M: Adjusts the motion detection distance.
- Brightness Adjustment (10 levels): Increases or decreases the light intensity.
- 1H/2H/3H: Activates the timer mode for 1, 2, or 3 hours.
- Night Sensing Mode: Light activates only when motion is detected at night.
- Day and Night Sensing Mode: Light activates when motion is detected both during the day and at night.
- Constant Light Mode: Keeps the light on continuously until turned off.
- Memory Function: The floodlight retains the last selected settings when powered off and on.
6.2 Understanding the Modes
The floodlight offers versatile lighting options:
- Motion Sensor Mode (Day & Night): The light will turn on when motion is detected, regardless of ambient light conditions. Ideal for areas requiring constant security.
- Motion Sensor Mode (Night Only): The light will only activate upon motion detection when it is dark. This conserves energy during daylight hours.
- Constant Light Mode: Provides continuous illumination, suitable for social gatherings or extended work in an area.
- Timer Mode: Allows the light to stay on for a set duration (1, 2, or 3 hours) before automatically turning off.

7. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your floodlight.
- Cleaning: Periodically clean the surface of the floodlight and the motion sensor lens with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Inspection: Regularly check the mounting bracket and wiring for any signs of damage or loosening. Ensure the sensor is free from obstructions.
- Power Disconnection: Always disconnect power before performing any cleaning or inspection.
8. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Light does not turn on. | No power supply; faulty wiring; sensor obstructed; incorrect mode setting. | Check power connection; verify wiring; clear sensor path; adjust mode via remote. |
| Light stays on continuously. | Constant Light Mode activated; continuous motion detected; sensor malfunction. | Switch to a motion sensor mode; ensure no constant motion in detection area; contact support if issue persists. |
| Motion sensor not detecting. | Sensor obstructed; incorrect sensitivity setting; sensor angle incorrect. | Clear obstructions; increase detection distance via remote; adjust sensor angle. |
| Remote control not working. | Dead batteries; remote out of range; signal obstruction. | Replace AAA batteries; ensure remote is within 12m range; remove obstructions between remote and floodlight. |
