Setup Instructions
Victrola VBB-25-SLV Mini Bluetooth Boombox Setup:
- Power Connection:
- AC Power: Plug the AC power adapter into the DC IN jack on the boombox and then into a standard wall outlet.
- Battery Power (Optional): Open the battery compartment on the back and insert 4 x 'C' size batteries (not included), observing correct polarity.
- Antenna: Extend the telescopic antenna for optimal FM radio reception.
Victrola VSC-550BT-TQ Vintage Suitcase Turntable Setup:
- Power Connection: Plug the AC power adapter into the DC IN jack on the turntable and then into a standard wall outlet.
- Stylus Protection: Carefully remove the white protective cap from the stylus before first use.
- Tonearm Release: Release the tonearm lock to allow the tonearm to move freely.
Operating Instructions
Victrola VBB-25-SLV Mini Bluetooth Boombox Operation:
- Power On/Off: Rotate the Power/Volume knob clockwise to turn on the boombox. Rotate counter-clockwise until it clicks to turn off.
- Adjusting Volume: Rotate the Power/Volume knob to increase or decrease the volume.
- AM/FM Radio:
- Set the Function Selector to AM or FM.
- Extend the telescopic antenna for FM. For AM, rotate the unit for best reception.
- Rotate the Tuning Knob to select your desired radio station.
- Cassette Playback:

- Set the Function Selector to TAPE/USB.
- Press the STOP/EJECT button to open the cassette door.
- Insert a cassette tape with the open edge facing up and the tape side facing you. Close the door.
- Press PLAY to start playback.
- Use FAST FORWARD, REWIND, and PAUSE as needed.
- Press STOP/EJECT to stop playback and remove the tape.
- Cassette Recording:
- Insert a blank cassette tape.
- Select your desired audio source (Radio, Bluetooth, or USB).
- Press the RECORD button (this will also engage PLAY). The boombox will begin recording the selected audio source onto the cassette.
- Press STOP/EJECT to end recording.
- Bluetooth Streaming (Boombox):
- Set the Function Selector to BT (Bluetooth). The boombox will enter pairing mode, indicated by a flashing LED.
- On your Bluetooth-enabled device (smartphone, tablet), search for "Victrola VBB-25-SLV" in the Bluetooth settings.
- Select the device to pair. Once paired, the LED will stop flashing, and you can stream audio.
- USB Playback:
- Set the Function Selector to TAPE/USB.
- Insert a USB flash drive containing MP3 files into the USB port.
- The boombox will automatically begin playing MP3 files from the USB drive. Use the track skip buttons to navigate.
- Headphone Use: Plug 3.5mm headphones into the headphone jack for private listening. The main speaker will be muted.
Victrola VSC-550BT-TQ Vintage Suitcase Turntable Operation:
- Power On/Off: Rotate the Power/Volume knob clockwise to turn on the turntable. Rotate counter-clockwise until it clicks to turn off.
- Adjusting Volume: Rotate the Power/Volume knob to increase or decrease the volume for the built-in speakers.
- Playing a Record:
- Open the turntable lid.
- Place a record on the platter.
- Select the correct speed (33 1/3, 45, or 78 RPM) using the Speed Selector switch. For 45 RPM records, place the included 45 RPM adapter over the spindle.
- Set the Function Selector to PHONO.
- Lift the tonearm using the cue lever and position it over the desired track on the record.
- Gently lower the tonearm onto the record using the cue lever. Playback will begin.
- At the end of the record, if Auto-Stop is enabled, the platter will stop spinning. Otherwise, manually lift the tonearm and return it to its rest.
- When finished, secure the tonearm with the lock and close the lid.
- Bluetooth Streaming (Turntable IN):

- Set the Function Selector to BT IN (Bluetooth Input). The turntable will enter pairing mode.
- On your Bluetooth-enabled device (smartphone, tablet), search for "Victrola VSC-550BT-TQ" in the Bluetooth settings.
- Select the device to pair. Once paired, you can stream audio from your device to the turntable's built-in speakers.
- Connecting External Speakers (RCA Output):
- Connect RCA cables (not included) from the RCA Output jacks on the back of the turntable to the audio input jacks on your external amplifier or powered speakers.
- Ensure the turntable's Function Selector is set to PHONO for record playback.
- Adjust volume on your external audio system.
- Headphone Use: Plug 3.5mm headphones into the headphone jack for private listening. The built-in speakers will be muted.
