Setup and Assembly

The Micro Mini Deluxe Scooter requires minimal assembly. Follow these simple steps:

  1. Insert the T-Bar: Locate the opening on the front of the scooter deck. Align the T-bar with this opening and firmly push it down until it clicks securely into place. You should hear an audible click, indicating it is locked.
  2. Adjust Handlebar Height: To adjust the height of the T-bar, locate the clamp mechanism on the T-bar stem. Loosen the clamp using the provided hex wrench. Adjust the T-bar to the desired height, ensuring the rider can comfortably hold the handlebars with a slight bend in their elbows.
  3. Secure the T-Bar: Once the desired height is set, firmly tighten the clamp using the hex wrench. Ensure the T-bar is secure and does not wobble before riding.

No additional tools are required for initial assembly beyond the included hex wrench.

Operating Instructions

The Micro Mini Deluxe Scooter features a unique lean-to-steer system, which helps children develop balance and coordination naturally.

Riding the Scooter:

  1. Starting: Place one foot firmly on the scooter deck. Use the other foot to push off the ground gently.
  2. Steering (Lean-to-Steer): To turn, lean your body in the direction you wish to go. The scooter's wheels will respond to your body's lean, allowing for intuitive steering. Do not attempt to turn the handlebars like a bicycle.
  3. Braking: The scooter is equipped with a rear brake. To slow down or stop, gently press your heel down on the brake pedal located above the rear wheel. Apply gradual pressure to avoid sudden stops.

Safety Tips:

  • Always ride on smooth, dry surfaces away from traffic.
  • Maintain a safe distance from other riders and obstacles.
  • Do not perform stunts or ride at excessive speeds.
  • Ensure all safety gear is worn correctly.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance will extend the life of your Micro Mini Deluxe Scooter and ensure safe operation.

  • Cleaning: Wipe down the scooter with a damp cloth after use. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Do not hose down or immerse the scooter in water, as this can damage bearings.
  • Wheel and Bearing Check: Periodically check the wheels for wear and tear. Ensure they spin freely. If the wheels are not spinning smoothly, the bearings may need cleaning or replacement.
  • Tighten Bolts: Regularly check all bolts and screws, especially those on the T-bar clamp and wheels, to ensure they are tight. Use the provided hex wrench for adjustments.
  • Storage: Store the scooter in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures, to prevent material degradation.
  • Brake Inspection: Check the rear brake for proper function and wear. Replace if it becomes less effective.
