Setup
Charging the Speaker
- Connect the provided USB data cable to the DC-5V port on the rear of the speaker.
- Connect the other end of the USB cable to a standard USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
- The charging indicator (if present, refer to speaker for exact location) will illuminate during charging and turn off when fully charged.
- A full charge typically takes approximately 2-3 hours.
Powering On/Off
- To power on, rotate the ON/OFF knob clockwise until you hear a click and the speaker powers on.
- To power off, rotate the ON/OFF knob counter-clockwise until you hear a click and the speaker powers off.
Operating Instructions
Bluetooth Mode
- Power on the speaker. It will typically enter Bluetooth pairing mode automatically, indicated by an audible prompt or flashing LED (if present).
- If not in Bluetooth mode, press the M button repeatedly until you hear the Bluetooth mode prompt.
- On your mobile device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
- Select "Sanpyl Speaker" or a similar name from the list of devices.
- Once paired, the speaker will confirm with an audible prompt, and you can begin playing audio from your device.
- The effective Bluetooth range is approximately 10 meters (33 feet).
TF Card / USB Playback
- Insert a TF (MicroSD) card into the TF Slot or a USB drive into the USB Port on the rear panel. Ensure the card/drive contains compatible audio files (e.g., MP3).
- The speaker should automatically switch to TF Card or USB mode and begin playing music.
- If it does not switch automatically, press the M button repeatedly to cycle through modes until you reach TF Card or USB mode.
AUX Input Mode
- Connect one end of the provided 3.5mm sound cable to the AUX Port on the rear of the speaker.
- Connect the other end of the sound cable to the headphone jack or audio output of your external audio device.
- Press the M button repeatedly to select AUX mode.
- Play audio from your external device. The speaker will output the sound.
FM Radio Mode
- Extend the antenna on the rear panel for optimal reception.
- Press the M button repeatedly to select FM Radio mode.
- Rotate the TUNE dial on the front panel to scan for and select desired radio stations.
- Adjust the VOL knob for desired listening level.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the speaker's exterior. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, solvents, or strong chemicals.
- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the speaker in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
