  3. Place the outdoor sensor and the display unit close to each other during initial setup to facilitate pairing.

4.2 Initial Pairing

Once batteries are installed in both units, the display unit will automatically search for the outdoor sensor. This process may take a few minutes. The outdoor temperature and humidity readings will appear on the display once a connection is established.

If the connection is not established, try pressing the 'RESET' button on both units (if available) or re-inserting the batteries. Ensure the sensor is within the effective transmission range of the display unit.

4.3 Placement Guidelines

  • Display Unit: Place the display unit indoors, away from direct sunlight, heat sources, or drafts that could affect indoor temperature readings.
  • Outdoor Sensor: Mount the outdoor sensor in a shaded, dry location, protected from direct rain and sunlight. Avoid placing it near metal structures or large electrical appliances that could interfere with wireless transmission. An ideal location is under an eave or on a north-facing wall.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Basic Display Information

The main screen displays the following information:

  • Indoor Temperature (°C/°F) and Humidity (%)
  • Outdoor Temperature (°C/°F) and Humidity (%)
  • Weather Forecast icons
  • Atmospheric Pressure
  • Time and Date
  • Alarm status

5.2 Setting Time and Date

Refer to the specific buttons on your device (e.g., 'MODE', 'SET', 'UP', 'DOWN') to adjust time, date, and language settings. Typically, you press 'MODE' to enter setting mode, then use 'UP'/'DOWN' to adjust values and 'SET' or 'MODE' again to confirm and move to the next setting.

5.3 Setting Alarms

The weather station supports dual alarms. Use the 'ALARM' or 'MODE' button to access alarm settings. Set the desired alarm time and activate/deactivate the alarm. The snooze function can typically be activated by pressing a dedicated 'SNOOZE' button when the alarm sounds.

5.4 Temperature Unit Selection (°C/°F)

A dedicated button (often labeled '°C/°F' or integrated into 'SET' options) allows you to switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit temperature units.

5.5 Min/Max Records

Press the 'MEM' or 'MAX/MIN' button to view the maximum and minimum temperature and humidity records for the last 24 hours. Press again to cycle through the values or clear them.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the display unit and sensor with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Battery Replacement: Replace batteries in both units when the low battery indicator appears on the display. Always replace all batteries at the same time with new ones.
  • Sensor Placement: Periodically check the outdoor sensor's placement to ensure it remains protected from extreme weather conditions and direct sunlight.
  • Storage: If storing the device for an extended period, remove all batteries to prevent leakage.
