3. Setup
3.1 Unpacking and Placement
- Carefully remove the ice maker from its packaging.
- Inspect the unit for any shipping damage. If damaged, do not operate and contact customer support.
- Place the ice maker on a firm, level surface capable of supporting its weight when full of water and ice.
- Ensure there is at least 5 inches (12.7 cm) of clearance around the unit for proper ventilation.
- Avoid placing the unit near heat sources or in direct sunlight.
3.2 Initial Cleaning
Before first use, it is recommended to clean the interior of the ice maker.
- Remove the ice basket and wash it with warm water and a mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly.
- Wipe the interior of the water reservoir and ice storage area with a soft cloth dampened with warm water and a small amount of vinegar or mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
- Run the self-cleaning cycle (refer to Section 5.3) before making ice for consumption.
3.3 Water Supply Connection
The Silonn ice maker offers two methods for water supply:
- Manual Water Addition: Simply open the top lid and pour potable water directly into the water reservoir up to the "MAX" fill line.
- Direct Faucet Connection:
- Locate the water intake port at the back of the unit.
- Connect the provided water transferring hose to the water intake port and secure it.
- Connect the other end of the water transferring hose to a potable water faucet using the water quick connector and four-to-two tap as needed.
- Ensure all connections are tight to prevent leaks.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Control Panel Overview
The ice maker features an intuitive LCD control panel for easy operation.

- LIGHT Button: Toggles the internal LED light on/off.
- TIMER Button: Quickly press to enter the reservation time setting (for delayed start/stop).
- CLEAN Button: Hold for 5 seconds to initiate the self-cleaning function.
- ON/OFF Button: Powers the unit on or off.
- +/- Buttons: Used to adjust the ice making process time, which controls ice thickness.
4.2 Making Ice
- Ensure the water reservoir is filled (either manually or via direct connection).
- Press the ON/OFF button to start the ice making cycle. The machine will begin producing ice.
- The first batch of ice may take slightly longer. Subsequent batches will be ready in 8-15 minutes.
- When the ice storage basket is full, the machine will automatically stop. It will resume ice production once ice is removed and the level drops.
- If the water level is low, an alarm will sound, and the "Add Water" indicator will illuminate. Refill the reservoir to resume operation.
4.3 Adjusting Ice Thickness
You can adjust the ice thickness by changing the ice making cycle time using the +/- buttons on the control panel.
- Thin Ice: Shorter cycle time (e.g., 1 minute). Ideal for smoothies or ice cream.
- Medium Ice: Standard cycle time (e.g., 15 minutes). Suitable for soft drinks and milkshakes.
- Thick Ice: Longer cycle time (e.g., 20 minutes). Perfect for cocktails and wine coolers, as it melts slower.

4.4 Timer Function
The timer function allows you to schedule when the ice maker turns on or off.
- Press the TIMER button.
- Use the +/- buttons to set the desired delay time in hours.
- The machine will automatically start or stop after the set time.

5. Maintenance
5.1 Self-Cleaning Function
The ice maker is equipped with an automatic self-cleaning function to maintain hygiene and performance.
- Ensure the ice maker is empty of ice cubes.
- Fill the water reservoir with clean, potable water up to the "MAX" line.
- Press and hold the CLEAN button for 5 seconds. The self-cleaning cycle will begin.
- The cleaning cycle typically lasts for a set duration (e.g., 15-20 minutes).
- Once the cycle is complete, drain the water from the unit using the drain hose located at the back.
- Rinse the interior with fresh water and drain again.
5.2 Regular Cleaning

- Exterior: Wipe the stainless steel exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals.
- Interior: Periodically remove the ice basket and clean the water reservoir and ice storage area with a solution of water and mild detergent or vinegar. Rinse thoroughly.
- Air Filter: Check and clean the air filter (if applicable, refer to specific model diagrams) regularly to ensure efficient cooling.
