Setup

1. Unpacking and Placement

1. Remove all packaging materials and tape from the unit.
2. Place the ice maker on a flat, stable surface away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
3. Ensure there is at least 5 inches (12.7 cm) of space around the unit for proper air circulation.

2. Initial Cleaning

1. Before first use, clean the interior of the ice maker with a soft cloth and mild detergent.
2. Rinse thoroughly with clean water and drain.

3. Adding Water

The ice maker supports two methods for adding water:

• Manual Fill: Lift the ice basket and pour water directly into the internal reservoir up to the 'MAX' fill line.
• External Water Tank: Place the 0.5L external water tank on top of the unit and fill it with water. The water will automatically flow into the internal reservoir.

Operating Instructions

1. Powering On/Off

1. Plug the ice maker into a grounded electrical outlet.
2. Press the ON/OFF button on the control panel to start or stop the unit.

2. Selecting Ice Size and Thickness

• Use the "+" and "-" buttons on the LCD display to adjust the ice making time, which controls the ice thickness.
• Options typically include Thin (5-9 minutes), Medium (10-14 minutes), and Thick (15-20 minutes).

3. LCD Display Indicators

• Add Water Indicator: A red light will illuminate when the water level is low, and the unit will pause operation.
• Ice Full Indicator: A green light will illuminate when the ice basket is full, and the unit will pause operation.
• Ice Symbol: The ice symbol on the display flashes to indicate that the ice making process is about to end.

4. 24-Hour Timing Function

The ice maker includes a 24-hour timing function for scheduled operation. Refer to the user manual for detailed instructions on setting the timer.

Maintenance

1. Automatic Cleaning Function

• The ice maker is equipped with an automatic cleaning function to ensure clean and healthy ice.
• To activate, press and hold the "+" button for 5 seconds. The cleaning cycle typically lasts 20 minutes.

2. Regular Cleaning

1. Unplug the appliance before cleaning.
2. Remove the ice basket and clean it with warm water and a mild detergent.
3. Drain any remaining water from the internal reservoir.
4. Wipe the interior and exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth.
5. Ensure all parts are dry before reassembling and storing the unit.
