Important Safety Instructions

  • Do not use without tanks in place.
  • Connect to a properly grounded outlet only. See grounding instructions.

Setup

  1. Unpack the Appliance: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure all parts are present and undamaged.
  2. Fill the Clean Water Tank:
    • Locate the clean water tank (usually marked "Clean" or with a blue cap).
    • Remove the tank from the main unit.
    • Open the fill cap and fill the tank with clean water. For enhanced cleaning, add an appropriate carpet cleaning solution (e.g., Oxy stain remover or Bissell carpet cleaning shampoo with Oxy) according to the solution manufacturer's instructions. Do not overfill.
    • Securely close the fill cap and place the tank back into the unit.
  3. Attach the Cleaning Tool: Connect the desired cleaning tool (e.g., upholstery tool, crevice tool) to the end of the hose until it clicks securely into place.
  4. Position the Appliance: Place the cleaner on a stable, flat surface near the area you intend to clean. Ensure the power cord can reach an electrical outlet without being stretched.

Operating Instructions

  1. Plug In: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.
  2. Pre-Treat (Optional): For heavily soiled areas or stubborn stains, you may pre-treat the area with a suitable stain remover before using the machine.
  3. Start Cleaning:
    • Turn on the appliance using the power switch.
    • Press the spray trigger on the cleaning tool to dispense cleaning solution onto the surface.
    • Move the cleaning tool slowly over the soiled area, applying pressure and pulling it towards you to extract the dirty solution. Overlap passes slightly.
    • Release the spray trigger and make additional passes over the same area to suction up any remaining moisture.
    • Repeat the process until the area is clean and as dry as possible.
  4. Monitor Dirty Water Tank: The dirty water tank will fill during operation. The machine is designed to stop operating and flash red when the dirty tank reaches its maximum level. Empty the dirty water tank promptly when this occurs.
  5. Extended Reach Cleaning: The 5m power cord and 1.6m hose allow for cleaning a wide area, including car interiors, without needing to frequently move the main unit.

  3. Clean Cleaning Tools:
