- Consult a physician before starting any exercise program.

- Place the treadmill on a flat, stable surface with adequate clearance around it.
- Wear appropriate exercise clothing and athletic shoes.
- Do not operate the treadmill if it has a damaged cord or plug, or if it is not working properly.
- Always use the safety key. Attach it to your clothing before starting the treadmill.

4. Setup and Assembly
The Lifelong LLTM159 treadmill requires assembly. Please follow the instructions provided in the separate assembly guide included with your product. Ensure all components are present and undamaged before beginning assembly.
Pre-Assembly Checklist:
- Unpack all components and verify against the parts list.
- Ensure you have sufficient space for assembly and operation.
- Gather necessary tools (usually included or standard household tools).

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Starting the Treadmill
- Plug the power cord into a grounded outlet.
- Stand on the side rails of the treadmill.
- Attach the safety key clip to your clothing and insert the safety key into its designated slot on the console.
- Press the START button on the console. The belt will begin to move at a low speed.
- Carefully step onto the moving belt and begin walking.
5.2 Adjusting Speed and Incline
- Speed: Use the SPEED + and SPEED - buttons to increase or decrease the running speed. Quick speed buttons (e.g., 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14 km/hr) are also available for direct selection.
- Incline: The LLTM159 features 3 levels of manual incline. To adjust, stop the treadmill, lift the rear of the running deck, and adjust the incline pins to the desired level. Ensure both sides are set equally.

5.3 Using Preset Programs
The treadmill includes 12 preset programs (P1-P12) designed for various fitness goals. To select a program:
- From standby mode, press the PROGRAM button to cycle through the available programs.
- Once your desired program is displayed, press START to begin the workout. The treadmill will automatically adjust speed and incline according to the program profile.

5.4 Heart Rate Monitoring
To monitor your heart rate, grip the hand pulse sensors located on the handlebars. Your heart rate will be displayed on the console after a few seconds.
5.5 Folding and Storage
The treadmill features a hydraulic folding system for easy storage:
- Ensure the treadmill is stopped and unplugged.
- Lift the running deck until it locks into the upright position.
- To unfold, gently push the deck upwards, then release the hydraulic lock and slowly lower the deck to the floor.

6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your treadmill.
- Cleaning: Wipe down the treadmill after each use with a damp cloth to remove sweat and dust. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
- Belt Lubrication: Lubricate the running belt every 3-6 months or after 100-150 hours of use, using silicone lubricant specifically designed for treadmills. Refer to the assembly guide for detailed instructions.
- Belt Adjustment: Periodically check the running belt for proper tension and alignment. Adjust as needed to prevent slipping or rubbing.
- Motor Cover: Periodically remove the motor cover and vacuum any dust or debris that may have accumulated. Ensure the treadmill is unplugged before doing so.
